Newly released video captured the moments before a knife-wielding double amputee was fatally shot by police in Los Angeles and shows him stabbing a man in front of a gas station.
Huntington Park on Monday released video of Anthony Lowe, 36, sitting in his wheelchair on Jan. 26 before attacking a pedestrian with a 12-inch butcher knife near a Shell station.
The man, who is seen staggering, was critically wounded with a collapsed lung but is recovering.
Police also released the 911 call made by the victim, who identified himself as Ramiro.
“I got stabbed in the heart right now,” he says, moaning in pain.

Good thing he didn’t go to trial, he didn’t have a leg to stand on in his defense.
A good lawyer would have cost him an arm and a leg, and he couldn’t have afforded it anyway.
they could have used one of those long catch-poles with a noose that Animal control uses on stray dogs.
That’s one feisty little dude, lol that he thought he could escape from the cops running on those stumps.
Is it me, or would this have been a solid opportunity for the use of a taser? How can a case for lethal force be made against an immobile person?
Not that the guy didn’t deserve what he got, but were I the cop, I would not feel good about the shot...

In Milwaukee a cop was shot and now the Milwaukee officials are urging citizens to step in and stop bar fights, street brawls, domestic disputes, etc rather than call the vile, biased, racist police - whom those same officials have been steadily de-funding, but which officials cannot understand why the police have low morale.
Golly, I noticed he still had a right arm and hand that looks like he is about to accurately throw a knife into a police officer. SHOOT HIM! A righteous kill!

He already stabbed one man and is threating to throw a large knife at the officers. You are one of those that say shoot him in the arm.
Actually I did not say what I would do, I only said the cops used excessive force. Yes, he stabbed someone and was trying to stump away. CCW holders can’t shoot someone who might throw a knife at them, neither should cops be allowed that privilege.
A badge should not be looked at as a license to kill. He was not going to escape, and they had not exhausted all options, nor while being confronted by at least five cops did he present a danger to the public. Excessive force, pure and simple.
