The Netanya report was posted in error by the earthquake monitoring service. Apparently it was a report by someone in Israel who felt the Turkish one.
However there was an aftershock in Turkey about that intensity.

It’s felt throughout the Middle East, I’m sure Syria and Lebanon were also impacted.

On the 17th of August, 1999 at 3:01 AM local time, a catastrophic magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck the Kocaeli Province of Turkey, causing monumental damage and 17,127–18,373 deaths.
So it was in error. It may have been felt there.

Ben Davidson runs a site called “Suspicious Observers” - complete with a lot of YouTube presentations. He links earth catastrophism with solar magnetic coupling in the solar system. That combined with the magnetic pole movements sets up some worrying scenarios for Earth’s inhabitants, near-term. IMHO
I hope the loss of people and buildings is as small as possible.

I also just realized most people would have been in bed. I say a prayer for these people.
