Amid controversies around the COVID-19 vaccine and growing distrust of public health authorities, more than four in ten Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, and a third of parents, now say they oppose requiring children in public schools to receive some childhood vaccines, up since 2019, a new KFF COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor survey finds.
Overall, nearly three in ten adults (28%) nationally now say that parents should be able to decide not to vaccinate their children for measles, mumps, and rubella rather than those vaccinations being required to attend public schools, up from 16% in a 2019 Pew Research Center poll conducted before the COVID-19 pandemic. Among parents, opposition to requiring those childhood vaccines now stands at 35%, up from 23% in 2019.
While most of the public still say that healthy children should be required to get those vaccines to attend public schools (71%), that share is down from 82% in 2019.
The growing opposition stems largely from shifts among people who identify as Republican or lean Republican, with 44% now saying parents should be able to opt out of those childhood vaccines, up from 20% in 2019. In contrast, the vast majority of Democrats and those who lean Democratic support requiring the vaccines for public school students (88%), little changed from 2019 (86%)

My mother used to take us to measles, mumps and chicken pox parties so we could be exposed and get it over with
Ditto.
For the vast majority, the childhood diseases of chicken pox, mumps and measles were manageable. I well recall being in school and that “Johnnie had mumps” during roll being taken. It was a common and accepted occurrence.
Now we have actual weapons to fight those maladies and they seem to work and have for many years.
UNLIKE the wuhan jabs that seem to kill people in almost the numbers as the actual illness. We do not look into those, do not want to know and damn you for asking the question. Thats enough of a flag for me.
Possible ping of interest

I agree, it seems to me that the folks at the pharmaceutical companies knew about the side effects, and, as revealed by the documents released, hid these facts and released these experimental DNA shots anyway with the full support of our government to do just what the shots were intended to do. That is to “thin the herd”.
The fact that every other excuse under the sun is being used to explain the vast number of sudden deaths in children and young adults except the one thing they all have in common, those experimental DNA shots.
There is definitely a huge coverup going on.
Thanks for the ping.
I’m starting to think we’ve never had informed consent on a lot of things we thought we did.
I’ve done a complete 180 on vaxx mandates after the last three years.
Any and all vaxx mandates.
Not to mention that the RNA tech is going into or will be going into more than CoupFlu vaxxes.
I recently had my first possible adverse reaction to a vaxx, one I’d been getting for the years. Or so I thought.
I don’t know for certain if it was the vaxx, a med I’d been prescribed at the same time, which I’d also had before, or both.
The reason I don’t know is because my health system has no interest on getting to the bottom of it.
See where I’m going with this...?
It’s another reason I’m done with mandates.
I’m not insisting other people risk their lives to lessen my risk.
That’s MY responsibility.
Mitch got his orders.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Thanks for posting this.
I am not anti-vaccination, especially with vaccines developed from naturally occuring viruses, and tested in real vaccine trials over time.
I say this as a former military dependent and active duty military who has been subjected to dozens of vaccines from a young age that most young people don’t get, such as Bubonic Plague, Typhus, Yellow Fever, etc. And then, often getting them again when I enlisted.
And I respect the opinion of people who don’t want to take vaccines, but I do take into account the caveat that even though it may not be them (the parents, as legal guardians to make choices for their children) who suffer the consequences of refusing to vaccinate their child (Their child being the one to suffer the consequences) to be consistent, I must allow for that.
If the outcome is bad for the child in contracting something they might have avoided, the parents will suffer with their children. They will not suffer with visible injuries or death as their children might, they will, however, suffer as well in their own way.
I am vehemently against this Frankenstein-like process of building a vaccine in a tinker-toy fashion (much as the COVID virus was built) and then forcing it on people.
As a result of this travesty we have been subjected to against our wills over the last several years, I have altered my views now to allow for parents to refuse to have their children vaccinated and respect their decision, even for things like polio in which we know the vaccine actually works, which could result in crippling or killing the child.
I have to take this view to be consistent.
It's my understanding that the MMR shots started in the late 60’s. There were concerns in the late 70’s. I didn't vaccinate my youngest (born 1982) until he was in kindergarten.
This is the type of fear mongering used to get new parents to inject their child.
Ad how many of them “tested” vaccines are actually part of the cause of the many conditions that have risen dramatically as the numbers of vaccines increased - or the fact they want to include mRNA in everything they can in the near future?
No one wants that blasted rDNA stuff in their body..
....and you know what’s actually in that liquid being injected how?
After all the lies from the govt and medical community the last couple of years, who is it that you trust?
You may be right. At 78 I got numerous vaccine injections throughout my life including all those shots I got while in the service. Since my early 60s I was getting my yearly flu shot. But since I became aware of the collusion between govt and big pharma wrt the Coup Flu I've not willfully had any inoculations.
(I did however receive a "tetanus shot" in the ER after a wreck two years ago that I was too woozy to object to.)
“What an evil way to intentionally wipe out a population.”
*********************************************************
What are you nuts? I’m sure every boomer on here experienced those diseases during childhood and it didn’t “wipe out the population”.
Good. The cv19vx got ppl to look into other vaccines. Now Dr Pierre Kory MD is saying that knowing what he knows now, he would not vaccinate his own children.
Most “vaccine-preventable” childhood diseases are prevented with proper nutrition, especially vit A, B complex, C, D3, K2, magnesium, zinc, iodine.
Give children some vitamin A about 3-4 days per week. They won’t “get” measles.

Post from Nov. 11, 2021: “After an hour and a half of screaming both girls have their first dose of the vaccine. Anna got it without any problems. Caitlin screamed and cried for an hour and a half. Then didn’t she’d a tear when the pharmacist was able to do the shot. I’m beat…”
On July 15, 2022, Mrs. Day-Weaver reported that despite being on medicine to prevent seizures, Anastasia was still having constant “tiny seizures.”
