"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg wondered on Monday if "we need to see White people get beat up" to see meaningful police reform before clarifying that she was "not suggesting that" following the death of Tyre Nichols. "Do we need to see White people also get beat before anybody will do anything? I’m not suggesting that. So don’t write us and tell me what a racist I am. I’m just asking is that what people have to see in order to wake up and realize this affects us all?" Goldberg asked.

If these race-obsessed talking heads, like Whoopi, Don Lemon, and Joy Reid really wanted to be productive, they would be begging black men to be great fathers to their sons.
That alone would largely solve the unfolding tragedy of black male violence toward others.
Bad cops are bad cops regardless of color. The best answer is to increase penalties to address abuse of office/power. Higher penalties. No early release.
Worked nights in the family donut shop when I was young. Cops came in and talked about their fantasies, usually roughing up or shooting teenagers.
I remember being told to “think twice before speaking once.” From the continuing amazing quotations from Whoopi, I don’t think she was ever told this, or if so, has given years of proof on TV that she ignores it. I don’t even think she ‘thinks once’ on much of what she says.
Does woopsie need to get beat up.

Why not say black cops have no patience with black people because they know somewhere other black folks have to put up with their BS?

In fact just a week ago a white LSU student was gang raped by three black boys and dumped in the street. She died. In Memphis last year a white mother and school teacher was jogging, kidnapped, raped and beaten to death.
