On Sunday, former Walmart CEO Bill Simon joined "Fox & Friends Weekend" to warn Americans of the detrimental impact corporate layoffs could have on the U.S.'s feeble economy.
"It's crazy right now. We're stuck in this loop of, wage inflation, product inflation, and cost inflation. And it's just that cycle keeps going. And I think, unfortunately, an inevitable byproduct of some of the Fed's moves and as the necessary medicine we have to take to kind of cool things down and get the inflation back under control on some of these layoffs that are coming," Simon explained to co-host Will Cain.

I have fuel but no generator. I have a chainsaw and a truck though so the fuel won’t go to waste. :)

Not a bad deal if you have a pig.

Yeah, I’ve been asked what crimes I committed to get me to move to the Midwest. LOL. It usually is the other way around! Truth is, you move where the economic opportunities are for you, when they show up. They have panned out, so we stayed.

Lol. I’ll take either if I have a little more land without an HOA to ruin the deal.

They were ludicrous then, too, but those in charge believed through their delusions that the inanity was justified.

No, I didn’t mean that Walmart officially accepted returns at the time; you just walked in and did it yourself (with the receipt in case problems arose). All the door greeters were worried about was whether you were wearing a mask (* removed when 20 feet into the store).

What? An HOA won’t let you raise pigs in the back yard?
It’s gettin’ so a man can’t have any fun anymore. LOL

I guess we didn’t have that option here. Had to go through the service counter here. No returns.

The only measures which lasted interminably here in WA that I can recall were 1) Dining room closures in restaurants and 2) Gyms and fitness places and 3) Indoor church services and 4) Movie theaters, I suppose

I could have done it there as well as here. I’m not saying Walmart condoned the practice; they definitely didn’t, and were presumably not even aware of it.
