I replayed the part when they were spraying and ASP batoning him. I heard his skull crack.

Way back in my youth when I stood Navy Shore Patrol in fun places like Hong Kong, Subic and Pattaya, we had to receive training just to carry a standard M1944 baton. We all knew where we could strike and not. The head was off limits and the goal was to get compliance and control, not injure the suspect. I would assume LEOs get similar training for the ASP.

I'm looking at the unmarked cars and the aggressive approach those cops took from the moment they pulled him over and dragged him out of the car (and who gets dragged out of a car over a simple traffic stop, anyway?).

I wonder if the dude suspected these mutants weren't even real police officers, and were there to rob/carjack him.

There's also a rumor floating around the victim was romantically involved with a woman that had a connection to one of the police officers. Not sure how legit it is, but it's out there.

I do believe this is true. Police shootings happen every day. Police interactions gone bad occur every day. We usually hear of none of them.

So if you have a DC political narrative ready to launch, you usually have a pick of several weeks worth of events to choose from.

I feel Obama and Holder were a lot smarter, and more cynical, with theirs. Whoever chose this for Biden is just doing re-treads from an old playbook.

If it turns out to be any such thing, then this was a murder pure and simple. He wasn't "resisting arrest," he was trying to escape men who had already decided to hurt or kill him, and he knew it.

I can’t watch this, it’s horrible. From what I did watch, it sure seems like the Memphis police force is not very well trained.
