They were charge with 2nd degree because you charge according to the evidence you have that will get a conviction. Which according Trey Gowdy would bring the high end of 15-60 yrs. prison sentence....Gowdy thinks they will get the max. of 60.....so none will get out of prison before they’re in their 90’s...if they even survive prison... No matter how people look at this they clearly did beat and torture him... to death.
Another report said he had no criminal history.
No excuse for torturing and beating repeatedly a man to death. ....then ignoring his obvious bloody injuries.
Agree FIB found his note book had notes from some of the classified papers late last week.
Every major Police scandal there is - from Rodney King to Michael Brown to George Floyd - it began with a perp who refused to submit, and ended with cops that didn’t stop excessive force even long after the perp was more than subdued.
Not true, there’s plenty of trigger happy murdering cops that’ll just kill cause they are blood thirsty and no other reason. Lots and lots of cases where people immediately surrender and are killed.
Ditto. I watched the video. The cops tased him, then hit him with at least 2 pepper spray events. Just awful to watch before one of the cops did a football kick on his body after he was subdued.
Another report said he had no criminal history.

Are you sure about that? Are you aware that we are not talking about Tyre?
Thank you. My thoughts the whole time we’re basically can’t two of these cops cuff him? They roll around on the ground and two more join in and start kicking and whacking him.
Exactly. Although I don't think I wouldn't have much care over someone who had harmed a child--I think I could turn an eye to that beating. What happened here is just horrific and nothing and I mean nothing shows him deserving of what he received. The police became the criminals. Sad.
And why were there so many officers there? Lots of questions about prior to when he was pulled over. I'm not sure we'll have those answers as happened either.
No, took it from the thread heading it was about Tyre.
The odds are much better when you comply, it’s simple.
You’ve got to overcome fear and dignity and just shut up and comply.
If you’ve somehow landed the rare officer that wants to ef you up no matter what—it wouldn’t have been any better resisting.
Comply and then sue the dog poo out of them later.
I think this guy had bad luck tangling with this group of officers, they were hyped up and not rational—they started from wide open.
Good post.
Not this one.
A former Arizona police officer has been cleared of murder charges after shooting and killing an unarmed man while on duty in 2016.
Watch the video.
Yep and think about every tiny move you make before they get to the car.
Agreed. It's hard to make sense of what there is--it just looks animalistic.
Very good post.
Seems something is coloring judgment.
