The twenty Freedom Caucus members did more for our country earlier this month than the entire GOPe has done in the past few decades. McCarthy may have wanted to seat them on these committees, but he knew that he would then probably be shown the door. I can just imagine the strategy meetings between McCarthy and his staff members and the rest of the “go along to get along” crew. The Freedom Caucus had them boxed in and they knew it.
