Former President Trump called former Vice President Mike Pence “an innocent man” on Tuesday following revelations that classified documents were found at Pence’s home in Indiana.
“Mike Pence is an innocent man. He never did anything knowingly dishonest in his life. Leave him alone!!!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Earlier on Tuesday, revelations emerged that classified documents had been found at Pence’s Indiana home. Pence attorney Greg Jacob told the National Archives earlier this month that “a small number of documents that could potentially contain sensitive or classified information interspersed throughout the records” had been found in his home and that those documents were later collected by the FBI after the findings were reported to the National Archives.

I wonder how many classified documents Hillary Clinton had from when she was Secretary of State. I would even wonder about John Kerry. Heck, I wonder about everyone now.
The DS knew they had a document problem. First tried to deflect with Trump. They got greedy. I think Trump baited them. Since that didn’t work, I think they planted documents on Pence. A lot of drama, but even bigger things are about to come out.
I dont think this is loyalty. I think it is Trump circling wagons against Biden and Garland. He could hate Pence for all we know but it is convenient right now to align with him even if Pence had no say in this alignment. It’s pretty smart if you ask me. Time will tell though.

In an executive office that job would fall to a secretary or other underling, who would have to "ride heard" on the executive to properly control classified documents and materials.
Congress has special viewing rooms to control classified documents.
They're the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (acronymed SCIFs and pronounced "skiffs") that serve as secure rooms where those with top-secret clearance can view some of the country's most classified information.What do you want to bet that Biden and Pence, each thinking they were above the law while in Congress, didn't obey the controls?
And As Vice President and President of the Senate? Forget about it!

I never liked Pence (even before Trump picked him) but that’s nice of Trump to stick up for him. I assume that Trump could just say he “declassified” whatever documents Pence has , if push comes to shove.
My guess paperwork isn’t anything all that important
