he governments of Brazil and Argentina will announce next week preparations to launch a common currency project that could turn the two countries, South America's two largest economies, into the world's second largest currency bloc.
The initial intention is that this new currency -- whose name, Brazil proposes, will be "the South" -- will boost regional trade and reduce the impact of the dollar. In principle, both countries envisage a period of simultaneous trade with the Brazilian real and the Argentine peso.
"We will announce the decision to start studying the necessary parameters for a common currency, which includes everything from fiscal issues to the size of the economy and the role of central banks," Argentina's Economy Minister Sergio Massa has announced to the Financial Times.

Why?
Or, are you being sarcastic? I’d imagine a supposed patriot to be against fiat bankstering, and for a metals-backed financial system.
Thanks to Biden and Dems, the US Dollar is going by the wayside.

Exactly, it is called De-dollarization. It started with senile Joe and the West’s sanctions on Russia. When Saudi stated they now accept Yuan and Rubles for oil, the domino’s began to start falling.
Pumping billions into the Ukie black hole pushes us further into unpayable debt- who wants a debt ridden currency? We are now witnessing a switch to commodities based currencies.
I’m not sure how that’s going to play out.
Well said!
Well said!
I say it started a long time ago, but began in earnest with Obama’s apology tour after his inauguration.
For perspective, a single US dollar was worth about 2 Brazilian Reals (BRL) in 2006. You can now get about 5.2 BRL for each USD. A pretty substantial drop in the BRL vs. the dollar in percentage terms. However, in 2006 it took just 3 Argentine Pesos (ARS) to get 1 USD. Today, you need 183 Argentine Pesos to get $1. Those who had their money in ARS have seen nearly a complete depletion of their wealth in USD terms.
Yes sir it is coming but here is the pivot point..The Euphrates River is all but dried up, so much so you can walk across the river bed and it is not above your ankles. https://www.thearchaeologist.org/blog/unbelievable-the-euphrates-river-dried-up-and-this-mysterious-tunnel-appeared
Things are lining up - then much will seem to happen all at once
Me, I’m wondering when they’ll start up ‘Peace and Security’ again - many have called for it - some have actively worked on it
This Brazil and Argentina takeover is just another step in the Biden administration aiding China in dominating the world at the expense of America.
Something that the socialist Lula and globalist IMF and socialist/globalist CCP all back ain’t gonna turn out well for state sovereignty.
And rolling it up with Argentina is probably just the beginning of amassing countries for the “Amero” coming our way.
If a state doesn’t control its currency it doesn’t control its economy.
We, the Heads of State and Government of the Argentine Republic, Barbados, Belize, the Federative Republic of Brazil, Canada, the Republic of Chile, the Republic of Colombia, the Republic of Costa Rica, the Republic of Ecuador, the Republic of El Salvador, the Republic of Guatemala, Co‑operative Republic of Guyana, the Republic of Haiti, the Republic of Honduras, Jamaica, the United Mexican States, the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Paraguay, the Republic of Peru, the United States of America, and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, gathered in Los Angeles on the margins of the Ninth Summit of the Americas, reiterate our will to strengthen national, regional, and hemispheric efforts to create the conditions for safe, orderly, humane, and regular migration and to strengthen frameworks for international protection and cooperation.
Today, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, President Joseph R. Biden, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met in Mexico City for the 10th North American Leaders’ Summit (NALS). The leaders are determined to fortify our region’s security, prosperity, sustainability and inclusiveness through commitments across six pillars: 1) diversity, equity, and inclusion; 2) climate change and the environment; 3) competitiveness; 4) migration and development; 5) health; and 6) regional security.
North America shares a unique history and culture that emphasizes innovation, equitable development, and mutually beneficial trade to create inclusive economic opportunities for the benefit of our people. We are not just neighbors and partners. Our people share bonds of family and friendship and value – above all else – freedom, justice, human rights, equality, and democracy. This is the North American DNA.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Diversity, equity, and inclusion is foundational to the strength, vibrancy, and resilience of our countries. We focus on providing marginalized communities opportunities for their full, equal, and meaningful participation in our democracies and economies. To advance these objectives, President López Obrador, President Biden, and Prime Minister Trudeau reiterated their joint commitment to protect civil rights, promote racial justice, expand protections for LGBTQI+ individuals and deliver more equitable outcomes to all.

Today marks the six-month anniversary of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection, a bold new framework for regional responsibility-sharing that 21 leaders endorsed on the margins of the Ninth Summit of the Americas. The three countries of North America each made ambitious commitments under the Los Angeles Declaration, including working together to advance labor mobility in North America, particularly regarding regular pathways, and have been delivering on these commitments.
Since June, Mexico, the United States and Canada have collectively welcomed record numbers of migrants and refugees from the Western Hemisphere under new and expanded labor and humanitarian programs. Today, we affirm our joint commitment to safe, orderly, and humane migration under the Los Angeles Declaration and other relevant multilateral frameworks. This includes assisting host communities and promoting migrant and refugee integration; providing protection to refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants; strengthening asylum capacity in the region; expanding and promoting regular pathways for migration and protection; addressing the root causes and impacts of irregular migration and forced displacement; and collaborating to counter xenophobia and discrimination against migrants and refugees.
Maybe.
How about meeting in the middle and stop being screwed by dealing with the US Dollar like they are doing now.
Remember Bush floating the North American Union? The globalists are back at it.
Go back 100 years, to the beginning of the 20th Century. Argentina was wealthier on a per capita basis than most European countries, was on par with the US.
To 'calculate' the number of the beast add 6 + 6 + 6 and that equals 18 - the number of the beast and the number of the verse; 1 + 8 = 9, the number of man (Israel)

[We just watched Thief In The Night Friday night.]
Watched it about 6 months ago - had not seen the whole movie since the 1970s.
The acting was still bad, of course. But I was surprised how good it actually is.
I don’t think the Mark of the Beast will come in the immediate aftermath of the Rapture but rather 3-1/2 years later.
It was accurate to see that the grocery stores were taking nothing for payment except the Mark of the Beast - and advertised it - seems a little ...... COVID-19-like........
