[We just watched Thief In The Night Friday night.]
Watched it about 6 months ago - had not seen the whole movie since the 1970s.
The acting was still bad, of course. But I was surprised how good it actually is.
I don’t think the Mark of the Beast will come in the immediate aftermath of the Rapture but rather 3-1/2 years later.
It was accurate to see that the grocery stores were taking nothing for payment except the Mark of the Beast - and advertised it - seems a little ...... COVID-19-like........

A perfect review! 😇 You are right: it is a series; one viewing was enough for now. The acting is - to put it kindly - tedious . . . superficial? sigh
