The fact he is back tells me he is up to something and it is not hard to guess what that may be by what he is talking about.

Yep, he told Trump, and the American public, that he had investigated the election fraud claims. There was no investigation. He simply decided for himself (or let it be decided for him by his masters) that there was no need to investigate. He is derelict, a liar, and a betrayer.
Yeah, I’ve never bought that cop out. There was a method that could have been used to bypass Mitch, and Trump in fact started using it towards the end of his term, but he should have used it the minute that the Turtle tried to hold him hostage.

Well, there were some recent FOIA releases that proved he never ordered any investigation of the election fraud claims. He just lied and said that he did, and further lied and said the “investigation” found nothing.

Late to the party, IMO.
It honestly seems like he thought Biden was a loyal member of the Deep State Establishment - a reliable Old DC Hand - only to learn too late that he is actually a senile puppet of the same Obama-era Radical Progressive Movement he correctly identifies and reviles.
And many, many other veteran Republicans thought the same thing - overestimating the danger Trump posed to the defense/intelligence cosa nostra and underestimating the danger Biden's real backers posed to the economy and social structure of the nation.
DeSantis might offer them a compromise way out, but they should never be forgiven for stabbing Trump in the back.

“Our Democracy” is Deep State code for “unopposed, unlimited, authoritarian rule by the entrenched uniparty”. This is why Barr opposes the radical progs and the conservatives in exactly the same way. Apparently he thinks the radical progs are a bigger threat right now than MAGA.
