You did not refute what I wrote.

We caused this.   You opinion means nothing.   The facts speak for themselves and what you feel is your perception of reality does not fit the facts.

Over and over again our politicians, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and many others have said their goal for at least the past ten years is to overthrow President Putin.   Show me how Russian's border dispute has anything to do with our national security.   It doesn't.

This war has everything to do with Russia's national security.   Russia putting nukes in Cuba caused US to threaten nuclear war.

But you claim the United States putting our proxy, NATO right up to Russia's border while stating we aim to take Putin out isn't a threat to Russia?   Stop your lying and face reality!

Frankly it just means the world needs to unite against Russia. It proves that they aren’t mature or intelligent enough to possess nuclear weapons. They are a rogue and sham nation. North Korea level, if not worse.

That is insane!   How do you claim the right to determine what should happen in another country?   We destroyed the Soviet Union and now Neocons are still not satisfied.   It's unbelieve how crazy that is.

Nobody should lose any sleep over that one. The chances of Russia losing the present conflict are entirely like the chances of the sun coming up in the West tomorrow morning.

It is always a pleasure to read a sensible post.

If it wouldn’t be for the US………..

If it would not be for the US most Ukrainians still would have a roof over their heads. Overall life and living conditions weren’t that bad in Ukraine, aside from corruption which reeked to high heaven, many times worse than here in the US and along with it US governmental agencies involvement, in order to gain a foothold, stirring the pot long before the last elections, which were a sham to begin with just like the last elections here in the US.

Probably the eastern portion of the Ukraine which has a large portion of ethnic Russians and was constantly assaulted by radical groups; would have been annexed by Russia and things eventually would have settled down. The same goes for Europe if they had not jumped on the US bandwagon. The US purposely damaged the gas supply lines making sure that Europe in general and Germany in particular remains dependent on the US like a colony, just in case they may come to their senses and change their mind.

Those days when Russia had any ideas of expansion are long gone and over with and things of the past. All they want is a quiet neighborhood without NATO or CIA manipulation and intervention. Just like the US likes to keep their backyard free of any intruders. But the warmongers within the US regime know that a peaceful coexistence is bad for the production of war materials, especially the military industrial complex as well as the globalists, cranking out wartime supplies like there is no tomorrow and if they keep it up there may not be one. So, they keep stirring the pot until it will boil over and it isn’t too far from doing just that.

As Reagan said : its an Evil Empire.

President Reagan was talking about the Soviet Union.   Get back in your time machine and go home to the 1980's.   The Soviet Union no longer exists and Russia isn't the Evil Empire you dream of fighting.   They just want to end the persecution and killing of ethnic Russians still living in the Ukraine by the self identified NAZIs.

Yet we whipped up a proxy war as an excuse to rebuild our outdated military weapons that were left in Afghanistan when Slow Joe Biden ordered our troops to skedaddle and for the opportunity to take down President Putin just because they think they can.

My thoughts exactly. Can they get anything into the air?
I assume we have deterrent capability to neutralize anything that goes sub-orbital. I’m optimistic about our ability, but not confident we have a command structure to react efficiently.

Thanks.   I know most of the posters for the Ukraine have ethnic ties to the country or other personal vendettas from the past, but I wish they could only think of our own national interests instead being the Pitbulls of belligerence.

Thanks for proving that you “Ukraine First” cultists” don’t give a damn about the invasion of the US by terrorists, criminals and drug cartels. I usually don’t use foul language, but a true American worries more about the deadly invasion of OUR BORDERS than the borders of a foreign country.

Ukraine is Europe’s problem and I don’t care about what happens to Europe, mainly Western Europe. They hate us anyway.

Ukraine has caused much damage to the US through Ukrainian spies such as Alexander Vindman, Alexandra Chalupa and Victoria Nuland. They aren’t exactly our Allies.

Reagan was talking about Russia, not the nations it had enslaved which are now mostly allies with us in NATO.

They did last year to.

Hell, they just might light off the canned sunshine machine.

Neither the Ukraine or Russia can continue this much longer. Ukraine punched way above her weight class, but NATO is running out of bullets to send her. Russia sucks, but has more meat to throw.

Best case is a white peace

How about Russia, just stays in Russia and stops invading neighboring countries.
