So much of Lefty thinking just comes down to childish fear without context or perspective.

This from Canada, but there's nothing special about the Canadian aspect.

Think of Covid response- yes, it was largely about control, but for the rank-and-file lefties in your daily lives it wasn't control, it was fear that made them cede that control over their lives. They willingly got on board with all the BS because they were scared.

You want to eliminate all risk from your life? I've got a guaranteed method, so simple it has only two steps:

1) Place a loaded pistol (with a round chambered, safety (if any) disengaged) against your temple

2) Pull the trigger

Congratulations, you're no longer at risk of various random-mutation or chemical caused cancers! Covid can no longer harm you! Heart disease? No worries there! Your risk of stroke will be zero afterward too. And forget your financial worries too!

Bottom line: life will kill ya. It is tenuous and fragile, and prone to inevitable failure. That's just the nature of things. I'll leave the religious commentary on that to others, but bottom line: to live in fear of death of isn't just a miserable existence, it leaves you open to manipulation by others with false promises of safety / false threats to your health.

Live your best life, both for yourself and others. Make the best use of your short time in this mortal world. Do so, and you know what? You'll be happier, you'll make others happier, and you won't be subject to manipulation by Leftist scum either. Sounds like a win-win-win to me...

Canada must not have a very strong ‘Alcohol Lobby.’

They need to follow the guidelines of the ‘Wisconsin Tavern League’ which shows you how to get customers to pay to imbibe in the MOST alcohol each day as humanly possible! ;)

Deny us alcohol? LOL! Didn't Mother Government already try that once upon a time? It lasted 13 years and from what I've read, people still found a way to consume alcohol. ;)

The American Medical Association “allows” 1 drink per DAY for women and 2 drinks per day for men. That’s the power of lobbying! That being said before health department apparatchiks chimed in, alcohol IS a Group 1 carcinogen because it breaks down into acetaldehyde. Then gain, so does cannabis smoke but Trudeau is making too much tax revenue from that.
