WASHINGTON (AP) — Search for the word “climate” on Twitter and the first automatic recommendation isn’t “climate crisis” or “climate jobs” or even “climate change” but instead “climate scam.”
Clicking on the recommendation yields dozens of posts denying the reality of climate change and making misleading claims about efforts to mitigate it.
Such misinformation has flourished on Twitter since it was bought by Elon Musk last year, but the site isn’t the only one promoting content that scientists and environmental advocates say undercuts public support for policies intended to respond to a changing climate.
“What’s happening in the information ecosystem poses a direct threat to action,” said Jennie King, head of climate research and response at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a London-based nonprofit. “It plants those seeds of doubt and makes people think maybe there isn’t scientific consensus.”
The institute is part of a coalition of environmental advocacy groups that on Thursday released a report tracking climate change disinformation in the months before, during and after the U.N. climate summit in November.
The report faulted social media platforms for, among other things, failing to enforce their own policies prohibiting climate change misinformation. It is only the latest to highlight the growing problem of climate misinformation on Twitter.

There are only seeds of doubt because no one has yet put forth a solution other than to take money from Americans and give it to dictators all over the world in exchange for nothing. Or maybe there is seeds of doubt because every climate model being presented is severely flawed. Or maybe there are seeds of doubt because of claims that climate change is caused by racism, sexism, homophobia, religious beliefs and everything in between where white, judeo christian practicing men are being blamed for every problem in the world.
But those are just guesses which a year ago would have been censored.

Communists don’t like giving up ground to their control of thought. They will use all their resources to push back. Twitter is in their sights, the fbi has been shamed. As schumer says “they have six ways from Sunday to get back at you”.
I am betting the story is a lie and plenty is still being posted by climate alarmists on Twitter.
I am betting it is just that the other side is no longer censored, so they are just having a field day.

And a search for Climate on Google or the like results in as sorts of Climate Change warning pages and zero on positive effects or is it real or scam in the first 50 results. So the the liberal AP is upset about bias on one side.
She wants “policies prohibiting climate misinformation.” The way to tell who is the truth teller and who is the liar: identify which wants to silence dissenting voices. Truthtellers are happy to take on all comers; liars fear exposure and seek to prevent it at all costs.

Its real simple folks. The Left-centric media’s complaint about “climate change” information they don’t like, and don’t want you to see, is not that it is mainly coming from “climate change deniers”, but really because most of it comes from science based reports from folks that are not climate alarmists. THAT is the Left’s problem, the same as it was over the Covid vaccines. “Misinformation” is merely reports that do not scare you into following along with an agenda supported by the Left. And any report that reasonably questions any “science” in the alarmist position, is called out as “misinformation”.
