Those who have been accusing the Biden administration FBI of getting away from law enforcement and into politics have full ammunition with the recent discovery of multiple groups of classified documents found in various residential and office spaces of President Joe Biden. The documents date back to the Obama era White House when Biden was vice president and had no declassification powers and reportedly link to the Hunter and Joe Biden connections to international situations such as in Ukraine.
Compared to the FBI raid of the Trump family home in Florida where agents seized documents in a secured storeroom that were slated for former President Trump’s presidential museum, Biden’s situation seems to be downplayed by all in the administration.
Now a former FBI leader is calling out the agency on partisan politics and other flaws, Just The news reports. Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker is imploring the agency to reverse its drift toward politicization, saying its recent cultural shift is eating away at its mission and public trust.
“There’s been a seismic shift in the culture,” he told the “Just the News, No Noise” television show in an interview aired Monday night. “And it kind of got away from me. I saw it coming a little bit under [former Director Robert] Mueller, but it was not that pronounced because Mueller was fighting the fight to keep the FBI together, and he knew he had to make some changes and he had to bring in some outside elements. And it’s something that he absolutely had to do.”
Swecker said political influence inside the bureau intensified under Mueller’s successors, James Comey and Christopher Wray. “That got out of hand, and then in comes Jim Comey, and he basically parachutes all these DOJ political appointees into the FBI, and slowly the culture shifts over Comey’s tenure,” he recalled. “And then under Chris Wray, it’s accelerated.”
Swecker, who led the FBI Criminal Investigative Division during his time as an assistant director, said that as a result of changing the hiring requirements, prospective agents are now being selected more on the basis of ideology and idealism rather than their willingness to enforce the rule of law.
He also blamed academia for openly indoctrinating American children. “I think the type of recruit they’re bringing in is more opinionated, more idealistic, more liberal — highly educated, more Ivy League,” he said. “And they tend to not just follow the facts. They tend to insert their own ideologies, their own opinions, because the indoctrination that’s taking place in the schools these days — if you’re virtuous and you’re highly educated, you can do everybody else’s thinking for them.”
Giving a prime practical example of where that indoctrination leads, Swecker said, “And you can decide that President Trump is not fit to be president, therefore we need to go after him. You can decide that domestic terrorists only exist on the right side of the political aisle, not on the left side of the political aisle. You can pick winners and losers. And that’s exactly what is happening inside the FBI.”
Swecker concluded by spelling out the consequences of the deepening politicization. “You see that some really, really good agents are leaving,” he said. “It’s no longer the ‘Let’s just follow the facts.’ I’m going to say that’s at the highest levels of the FBI, where we have these political appointees parachuting in. But I think it’s beginning to sort of percolate down to the street level as well,” Just The News reported.
Having spoken out about the weaponization of federal law enforcement, Republicans have launched a series of investigations in the House into whether federal law enforcement has in fact been weaponized, including perceptions that the Biden and Trump classified document controversies have been handled differently.
Trump has decried what he feels is a double standard. When asked Monday about the classified document scandal during an interview with “Real America’s Voice” host David Brody, Trump said Biden is engaged in a “coverup.” “We have a much different situation,” Trump said. “I was president. I had the right to declassify as president. A vice president, as you know, you can’t do that … [Biden’s] under a very tough constraint … we have literally a fortress here — you could say it’s an armed fortress … and we were locked, and we were ready, and we had Secret Service … there at all times.
Trump posted this week on some other differences in the situation, “The White House just announced that there are no LOGS or information of any kind on visitors to the Wilmington house and flimsy, unlocked, and unsecured, but now very famous, garage. Maybe they are smarter than we think! this is one of the seemingly many places where HIGHLY CLASSIFIED documents are stored (in a big pile on the damp floor). Mar-A-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!
The Sean Hannity Talking Points.
The archive people are supposed to KNOW where every doc is. THEY are the ones to blame for docs that are found at Trumps and at biden’s. They should all be fired. Their job is to KNOW where every doc is. And what abt Hillary’s e-mails? If these docs are so important why do they let them leave the WH at ALL?
Truth is they wanted to GET Trump. They never before CARED abt this until the dems wanted Trump. DEM FAIL.
EVERY pres has taken classified docs. Obama supposedly took 30,000 docs to “digitize” them for his library. Last I heard he had not yet digitized 1. Hillary took 33,000 and the archive people never went apoplectic. See it was never important and now it has come back to bite the dems in the butt. The ARCHIVE people are at fault. It is their JOB to know where all these papers are. If they let obamer and hillary go they better just let biden and Trump go too.

He's dreaming if he thinks they will even pay him any attention whatsoever.
Ivy League men and women are not in touch with Americans. Get rid of the likes of Strzk, which is pronounced “Sterzick”, and not “Strock”. That was a gimmick to hide his background. He is mentally ill.
Well, Mr. Swecker, I think that horse has already bolted the barn. The only remedy remaining is what JFK suggested for the CIA.
I hope he’s prepared for 10 years worth of tax audits.
Shut it down.
But the reality today is that they are now over here as well.
By the millions...they wear the label 'progressive'...
What’s his hurry. He waited this long. Why not another
ten to twenty years?
And he, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten, was the chief of the Trump Mar-a-Lago raid.
From the article:
Auten has been allowed to work on sensitive cases even though he has been under internal investigation since 2019, when Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz referred him for disciplinary review for his role in vetting a Hillary Clinton campaign-funded dossier used by the FBI to obtain a series of wiretap warrants to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Horowitz singled out Auten for cutting a number of corners in the verification process and even allowing information he knew to be incorrect slip into warrant affidavits and mislead the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court.
The FBI knew RussiaGate was a lie — but hid that truth In congressional testimony this month, Wray confirmed that “a number of” former Crossfire Hurricane team members are still employed at the bureau while undergoing disciplinary review. In the meantime, Wray has walled off the former Russiagate investigators only from participating in FISA wiretap applications, according to the sources.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, has asked Wray for copies of recent case files and reports generated by Auten and whether he is included among the team the FBI has assembled to determine which of the seized Trump records fall within the scope of its counterespionage investigation and which fall outside of it.
“It is a disgrace that Auten is still even employed by the bureau,” said 27-year FBI veteran Michael Biasello. “I would substitute other analysts and agents.”
I wouldn't be surprised to learn the Biden Document Special Prosecutor Hur uses Auten to do his gumshoe investigating and interviewing for him. Until something is done about this guy and Wray gets fired, well... No peace, no justice.
Although the Patriot Act established the erosion of civil liberties, the fast forward came with this:

1. As evidenced with AG Sessions recusal out of thin air and Barr’s refusing to defend a Federal courthouse under attack for 100+ days (Portland), and not classify them as as “domestic terrorists”, it’s safe to assume the GOP has been checkmated. Bear in mind the Judiciary IS THE LAST BACKSTOP to our Republic.
2. Where feasible, form local alliances with LE organizations/like minded believers.
3. All electronic communications is monitored. No FISA court needed.
Like the communist march through our culture, both political parties were also included in that march. They were just as involved in stopping Joseph McCarthy as were the Democrats. Otherwise, McCarthy would not have been as vilified as he was.
Kind of late to the party isn’t he ?
But JFK ended up being.....
Oh, I get it now.
The clintons and the democrat party are most responsible. The same people since the clintons arrived in Washington are still there.
“the type of recruit they’re bringing in is more opinionated, more idealistic, more liberal . . . ,” he said. “And they tend to not just follow the facts. They tend to insert their own ideologies, their own opinions”
Again: “they tend to not just follow the facts”
