In a statement, an attorney for President Joe Biden said his team first flagged the materials to both DOJ and the National Archives and Record Administration.
"The White House is cooperating with the National Archives and the Department of Justice regarding the discovery of what appear to be Obama-Biden Administration records, including a small number of documents with classified markings," Richard Sauber, a special counsel to Biden, said in a statement.

It should be noted that the President has the power to declassify. I am not aware of that being a power given to the Vice President. There is a difference between Trump and Biden in this regard.
They found the classified documents on November 2 - before the election.
That would be one way to force some retirements out of there LOL.

They are doing this as cover for the DOJ going after Trump. They have no intention of this being a real investigation, but now they can say they investigate these on a non-partisan basis. Just Garland doing a little CYA after the fact.

Send in the cleaners. And who gave authority to some bureaucrat about what is and isn’t classified? I don’t reall care that Biden, or any other vp or president had documents. But I do want to see Joe Biden absolutely destroyed by the same process the swamp has used on Trump.
