As Victoria's Secret goes woke, so goes the bad fortune of its shareholders. This is the story:
Victoria's Secret brand CEO Amy Hauk announced that she will be leaving the lingerie giant after a brief stint at the company.
"Amy Hauk will be stepping down as CEO of Victoria’s Secret and PINK in order to spend more time with her family in Florida," the company said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
The once-loved brand has had a tumultuous few years with an attempted rebranding that implemented "woke" policies like removing the iconic "Angels" models as well as the yearly fashion show.
In 2020, Victoria’s Secret announced that it would permanently close around 250 stores in the U.S. and Canada after considerable profit loss.
We wish Ms. Hauk a lot of fun with her family.
Maybe she should take a little time to reread some of those business books about listening to and knowing your customers.
In other words, men and women walk into these stores to buy lingerie and other stuff. It could be a husband like me looking for an anniversary gift. Or it could be a wife looking to surprise her husband coming home from a business trip. I never heard of anybody who went to Victoria's Secret to hear a political message. Never. I guess that politics and sexy lingerie are never in the same sentence.

Guess you can’t put lipstick on a pig?
But they sure tried, didn’t they?
I think they also used men in lingerie in advertisements.
Disgusting. Will never buy from them again.
Victoria’s Man Secret
Modern semi-literate journalism. I assume they mean a reduction in profits. But who knows?
I’ve been meaning to ask this - What exactly is Victoria’s Secret?
If it ain’t broke, don’t go woke.
i noticed a lot of companies like turbo tax, and other well known companies are now including homosexuals making out in their commercials to sell their products now- for no other purpose than to shove their deviant lifestyle practices i n everyone’s faces- gotta boycott a lot of woke companies these days it seems-
Being a person who has shopped in the VS store and worn the flimsy, itchy, scratchy, impossible things, let me say they are expensive, frivolous, uncomfortable as heck, worn once or twice, often damaged in use.
These were made to look good on 6’, 105 pound, implanted women.
They are just not worth it, and people cannot afford to be frivolous these days.
In my experience, nekkid except for a white button down men’s dress shirt is pretty much going to do it for any guy.
There is madness behind the obiquitous queers and in TV ads
If Queers and @#$#@#@@ are not advertised, the woke will not buy the products.
With their current marketing plan they’d be better off selling feedlot ear tags and offering brand registration services.
Well look, given the option, men will always go for the sexy skimpy lingerie. Just sayin.
Victoria’s Secret is a mall chain that sells lingerie.
It started in the 80s with high quality beautiful Victorian style underwear but soon became like a Frederick’s of Hollywood. Cheap and tawdry. In the 80s their undergarments were beautiful and high quality.
It did soft core porn runway shows and tv specials.
If your question is whither the brand name, underwear is secret (normally not shown) and they started out doing beautiful Victorian era garments.
For the sake of reasonable debate… I cannot possibly think of traditional Americans over 35 regularly shopping at VS. I am thinking this is hyperbole to cover up the real problem. Bras that cost that much are not going to sell in Biden’s economy.
I still know Christians who shop at target.. the first store to speak up and invite men into Womens restrooms. Maybe I am missing something.
Thirty years ago, the joke answer was "Her real name is 'Victor' ..."
Nobody wants to see a lingerie model with a package.
I don’t understand the whole mens dress shirt thing, though I have seen it represented in a movie or two. It’s like the opposite of the feminine attire that lingerie represents lol. Anyways on this subject I will say that I became intolerant to bras and tried all kinds from various brands and retailers for a few years in an attempt to find one I could tolerate wearing and went basically without for a couple of years until I decided to try VS of all places and voila, for some odd reason I can tolerate their underwires just fine. Weird.
I looked twice - thought this was the Bee.
Rodney Dangerfield talking about a ‘tall handsome guy walking with a short ugly girl’ is timeless.
