So in the beginning Gaetz said it was a good thing debating because he would get compromises from McCarty.
BUT! Now that McCarthy has given him all he wanted, Gaetz now says NEVER NEVER NEVER!
He is becoming ridiculous. It’s only hate and personal now coming from Gaetz.
Gaetz is not at all fairplay, he acts like a spoiled teenaged brat !
McCarthy must be stopped. Period. No more corrupt Derp State RINOs !
If he had stopped with “You only earn the position of speaker of the House if you can get the votes. Mr. McCarthy doesn’t have the votes today, he will not have the votes tomorrow, and he will not have the votes next week, next month, next year,” that would have been fine. But he did go a bit overboard and hung himself.
I know we aren’t going to get a Freedom Caucus member as Speaker.
But, out of 200+ Republican members of the House, surely there must be someone less distasteful to the base of the Party than McCarthy.
It is time to find a compromise. I’m thinking Scalise, but am open to other suggestions.
The GOP just isn’t a serious political party. There are a thousand reasons to say that. They just aren’t.

Another unhinged Gaetz rant, and then to top it off he votes for Jordan. The same Jordan who has publicly said he supports McCarthy. The same Jordan who has voted for McCarthy every single time.
I would suggest the odds are about even between McTraitor becoming speaker and many of those who voted him in, later declaring Gaetze was right, and we should have taken his que and stuck with Gaetze.

Gaetz is correct about McCarthy’s vanity. McCarthy is also an arrogant SOB considering that he has never accomplished anything in his life. He never had a job outside of government. That in itself demonstrates what a pussy McCarthy is. He never had the stones to make his mark on the world in the private sector. No one should be allowed to make a career out of government. I can’t think of anything more pathetic than lifer government employees. They are the ones that make government wasteful and ineffective. All they care about is their paychecks, benefits and pensions. Serving the American public is last on their list.
This is Gaetz’s way of pushing McCarthy to take the conservatives’ deal.
McCarthy is an infiltrator. He was groomed for this position. To control the house for the bad guys no matter who had the majority. His history shows that he is not a friend of the constitution or freedom, justice, and liberty for all. He is in on the plan to tear this nation down and to bring it under the dominance of dark world forces.
Yet I have no doubt that he will be speaker. We have moved past the precipice. Those who are fighting against him are heros. But in this case I believe that evil will prevail. There are too few left to fight back.
At this point McCarthy is going to be the speaker he’s down to 4 votes needed to out right win it and now has more votes the the democrats, so has other options.
Before he had to either get more republicans to vote for him, or get democrats to vote for him.
Now, that e clearly has the most votes, he doesn’t need the democrats to vote for him, but just needs a few democrats not to vote or vote present, and he can win.
Ideally, and best route is getting enough republicans, and with the number needed down to 4 out of 8, odds are almost certainly he will get them, just a matter of what he will need to give away to get them.
Getting democrats to directly vote for him is the worst option, as democrats will be viewed as a traitor by their base for doing it and McCarthy will likely have to give up some serious concessions to make that happen.
The third option, is a middle ground between the two, he would still need to give up something to dems to make them not vote or vote present.. and those folks who do it would likely take a hit with their base in.. but not as big of hit or concession would be needed.
This is going to come to a head eventually, and if I had to gamble I would say 4 of the remaining 8 will yield soon... Whether it be because of threats to take things away from them when McCarthy wins, or carrots offered to help him win, or a bit of both, who’s to say.
When is the now gang of 8 going to have someone stand up and say “elect me”?
We’ll, you know the WEF has chosen their Speaker and it’s McCarthy. The repugs in the House don’t represent the base but they are beholden to the money and power of the WEF. It’s just that simple.
Gaetz the blowhard and McCarthy the uninspiring, boilerplate politician.

McCarthy was done the moment his cozy relationship with Klaus Schwabb of the WEF came to light.
