Details are continuing to emerge regarding the man accused of brutally stabbing four young Moscow, Idaho college students last month, with the suspect’s arrest this week leading to a flood of news reports on the alleged killer’s background.
Bryan Kohberger was arrested at his parents’ house in Pennsylvania this week and charged with the murder of the four students, Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
News reports revealed that Kohberger, a criminology PhD student at the University of Washington, was allegedly linked to the crime scene via a DNA sample fed into a genetic genealogy database.
Law enforcement reportedly tracked him closely as he drove cross-country from Washington to his parents’ home in Pennsylvania.
The suspect was also reportedly a security guard several years ago at Pleasant Valley School District near Allentown, Pa., before enrolling at the University of Washington.

Isn’t that driving you nuts?
We don't know, of course, but if one woke up and fought back, that would explain it.
I was thinking maybe FBI Special Agent attached to Bobbie Ferguson’s office?
He should have watched more Columbo.

Medical student, engaged to be married, would set up dates with escorts for erotic massage on Craigslist
Would then rob them - killed one girl who resisted
Was caught - committed suicide in jail waiting trial
Parallels with Ted bundy too ..........
Been wondering about the family.
Can’t imagine having your kid arrested for this crime. Horrifying.
“As someone suggested, he could have easily driven home through Canada and made himself more difficult to track.”
They were waiting for him at his parents’ house.
49 posts and not ONE comment about this!?!??
I wondered if anyone else noticed that.
Usually, justthenews is a good source.
I referenced it in the headline.
No doubt.
Every rural college town attracts weirdos. Our school had a guy who shot at trains. My brother went to school in rural Maine. They skinned animals in the dorm bathrooms.
The world is full of lost souls.
This development should make anyone think twice before sending their DNA into a genetic genealogy database.
If bad guys can be rightly found, good guys can be wrongly accused. Or framed.
Rural, heck!
A few decades ago, a University of Minnesota (in downtown Minneapolis) ran a trapline and was skinning muskrats in his dorm room.
Wow. That’s some hillbilly stuff right there. Lol.
I have to dig the story up, but I think the player’s father was an NFL player.
Take I-10 east or north out of El Paso, you'll get the treatment. No international borders needed.

C’mon just because he’s an Incel murderer, doesn’t mean he’s a necrophiliac. /s
Maybe Mom and Dad ID’ed this killer and made the appropriate phone call. They had first hand knowledge about this nut and did the right thing.
