Details are continuing to emerge regarding the man accused of brutally stabbing four young Moscow, Idaho college students last month, with the suspect’s arrest this week leading to a flood of news reports on the alleged killer’s background.
Bryan Kohberger was arrested at his parents’ house in Pennsylvania this week and charged with the murder of the four students, Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
News reports revealed that Kohberger, a criminology PhD student at the University of Washington, was allegedly linked to the crime scene via a DNA sample fed into a genetic genealogy database.
Law enforcement reportedly tracked him closely as he drove cross-country from Washington to his parents’ home in Pennsylvania.
The suspect was also reportedly a security guard several years ago at Pleasant Valley School District near Allentown, Pa., before enrolling at the University of Washington.

Motive?
Interesting that the accused is a Phd Criminology candidate. He wanted to commit the perfect crime? A modern day lone Leopold and Loeb?
As someone suggested, he could have easily driven home through Canada and made himself more difficult to track.
Incel.
Dog skinner and SERIAL KILLER. Any missing students from other schools that he may have killed?
Reportedly he went to high school there, not clear if he grew up in Albrightsville (parents’ home where he was arrested), which is near Jim Thorpe.
Different news feeds have listed many different locations including Scranton, Chestnut Hill, Mount Pocono, etc. Area has a lot of wilderness and widely dispersed school districts, so I guess we’ll have to wait to get more details on his youth.
Good case for the death penalty.
That's interesting... He must have been a suspect for awhile then...
If they tracked him closely he must have discarded the murder weapon immediately after the carnage. I would check local dumpsters and POSSIBLY where those dumpsters were emptied, along with local brush/bush locations. Monumental task and they’ll probably never find the knife.
Then why no sexual assault?
The had an image of his white Hyundai from near the scene.
Washington State University, which is about eight mile away from the crime scene, not the University of Washington, which is in Seattle.
It was just a guess. I know nuthingk. 🤡
Idaho has the death penalty, and they use it. However, they’ve had trouble finding a supplier for drugs to use. If Idaho officials lied, and said they wanted to murder handicapped children and the elderly, they could probably get an unlimited supply.
I don’t know why anyone would believe such a thing — especially in a post-9/11 world. You drive across the USA-Canada border in either direction today, and both governments have a permanent electronic record of all kinds of things (license plate, vehicle registration information, Social Security number, facial photograph, etc.).
i like that theory- he probably thinks he’s the smartest vegan in the room.
Apparently, his father traveled (flew?) out to Idaho and the two drove the car back to PA together.
The knife handle gets bloody and slippery (especially when there is no tang). The hand slides down to the blade in the process of stabbing
A DNA bonanza!
Had he done this 15 miles west in Washington state, he would be sitting in the Governor's office.
There are a lot of bridges between Idaho and Eastern PA. That knife is at the bottom of some Midwestern stream.
