"The Republican Party of 1912 decided it would be better off renominating William Howard Taft, even though its voters would have preferred another Roosevelt term. The resulting split ushered in Woodrow Wilson and the first academic globalists, whose bright ideas laid the groundwork for a second world war on the eve of the conclusion of the first. ...
But, despite the obvious differences, we’re heading for a 1912-repeat, in which the Republican Party ignores its own voters. The Republican machine has no intention of letting us choose Trump again: He is not a uniparty team player. They’d rather lose an election to the Democrats, their brothers in crime, than win with Trump.
That leads us to the inevitable question: What should we do when a majority of Republicans want Trump, but the Republican Party says we can’t have him?"

“Does it involve biting someone’s sister?”
Show us on the chart where the Moose bit your sister.
And the Bull Moose Party gave us Woodrow Wilson...
Me too. We need someone new. Since when is Gov DeSantis an establishment RINO candidate? From what I know to date, he has been an outstanding governor, and would be a far superior candidate/POTUS than Trump.
I also voted for Trump and gave him money. For 2024, he’s not on my top 10 list of possibilities.
Some here seem to feel that anyone else but Trump would be caving into “The Uniparty Establishment”. This is ridiculous.
Stop endorsing RINOs and surrounding himself with backstabbers. And shut up once in a while. Stop endorsing abortion for instance. Or hawking stupid cards with himself dressed up like astronauts. Just stupid, stupid sh*t that he keeps doing and saying. It's not 42D chess. It's just him being a moron.
And who on the R side do you prefer at this point?
I'm considering DeSantis. He, too, needs to win my vote. Florida has done well by him. He could be deep state and/or wholly bought. Remains to be seen.
No. You?
DeSantis. But he, too, needs to win my vote.
I’m sure any one of them would have given you the uniparty shivers up your leg that you’re looking for.
Stop looking at my legs you faggot.
I haven't made up my mind. Both need to do the work to win my primary vote, but in the final analysis would probably vote for either in the general.
If Trump runs on an independent ticket with no DeSantis, I’m voting Trump.
If it comes down to that, then I'm probably on board as well. We'll see.
.
So, it won't work today.
Better figure something out quick-like or it'll be Brandon in a walker.
Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:
Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated;
Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned; and
Finally, got control of the southern border.
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies? Yet we have Freepers who are so damn unappreciative they throw leadership talent like that away.
I think this is being over-thought here. Trump alludes to it, lightly, as a warning to the RNC.
The RNC would probably like to win, at least a little bit.
Depressing fall from grace.
That was Trump, with his $500 billion "Platinum Plan."
Remember that? I sure do.
Win with Trump?
LOL!
The only people "winning with Trump" lately have been Democrats.
In order to win in 2024, Trump must do a far better job of reaching out to the following demographics:
dead people
fake people
people in comas
imaginary people
people who moved away
duplicate people
I think Trump is too old and there are no Republicans worth voting for so I’ll just vote for the state and county offices.
Trump is The Great Disrupter. “They” will not allow his nomination. (Both Rs and Ds.) He’s very bad for normal corrupt business as usual.
Trump, however, has a Big Ego (not necessarily a bad thing), and a Kew York City Real Estate Developer’s skills at dirty street fighting.
This tells me he WILL run — he’s an unstoppable runaway train, which is one of his endearing traits to many.
If he is denied the R nomination, he’ll run as an Indy, he’ll Perot us back into whoever replaces Biden. And THAT will restore single-party D rule.
That should finish us off.
You might be better off going with the Pence/Biden option.
