(Reuters) -Moscow's proposals for settlement in Ukraine are well known to Kyiv and either Ukraine fulfils them for their own good or the Russian army will decide the issue, TASS agency quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying.
"Our proposals for the demilitarization and denazification of the territories controlled by the regime, the elimination of threats to Russia's security emanating from there, including our new lands, are well known to the enemy," the state news agency quoted Lavrov as saying late on Monday.
"The point is simple: Fulfil them for your own good. Otherwise, the issue will be decided by the Russian army."....

HAHAHAHAHA what other choice do they have? Even a cornered rat fights very well.
I keep waiting for the Russians to fight well...lmao.
“How am I picking the Russian side? When did I say that I want Russia to win? If Ukraine could win without WW3 resulting, I’d be fine with that outcome - just hard to see how (and yes, that’s an opinion). Whichever side wins would have no effect on me, or my country.”
Listen to you! What epithets have you tossed Russia’s way? When have you passed up an opportunity to denigrate or deprecate Ukraine and its leadership? And do you really believe that Russia prevailing would have no impact on the US?
I tell you: Arming Ukraine is a bargain compared to the US having to fight Russia head-on, in logistics alone.
“The UN only has the power it gives itself.”
No; it only has the power the world allows it to have. Which applies to any and every international body.
“When have you passed up an opportunity to denigrate or deprecate Ukraine and its leadership?”
That’s because they’re a LAUGHING STOCK, complete with a comedian who shows up in Hollywood Garb in front of Congress. But try finding something that I’ve said derogatory about Zaluzhny, a Ukrainian military leader worth RESPECTING.
“And do you really believe that Russia prevailing would have no impact on the US?”
At this point, it sure will - for starters, we won’t have free run around the world anymore. But 10 months ago, if we had just things run their course, naa - other than their corruption, Ukraine was virtually useless to the United States.
“Russia has 12 time zones. To destroy entire Russia with nukes will destroy half of europe, Japan, S. Korea.”
Half of those time zones are pretty much empty. No one would waste ordnance on them except to take out an ICBM site.
Think about it: Canada is enormous, as well; but aside from the southern part and sections of its east coast, there is nothing there but space. Would Russia waste a bunch of its nuclear arsenal to vaporize a bunch of caribou and melt some ice?
“You root for Russia even against America directly, whether in terrorist attacks, or nuclear war.”
I have NO CLUE what you’re talking about regarding terrorist attacks, but I certainly see no shortage of BLOODTHIRSTY Ukraine supporters here.
They are a laughing stock to YOU.
I don’t find insult in someone fighting to defend his home or his country from an existential threat. You, apparently do.
“They are a laughing stock to YOU.”
Actually a guy who played Piano with his dick just before being president there meets the definition of laughing stock, at to many of us here.
Thanks AM, I realize that I was borderline spamming you, but believe it or not, virtually everyone else I reported yesterday is now being civil here!
“That’s not a prediction. That’s you clearly taking pleasure in the thought of millions of Americans getting incinerated.”

Let’s be fair. I didn’t get that at all from Bob’s comment. I got it as more of a warning as to what could happen. Pleasure? C’mon.
I do get a sick vibe from this one, though.

Payback’s a bitch. Easy fighting a bunch of Third World types in Afghanistan - not so easy fighting First World country in Ukraine (and it ain’t Ukraine).

Oh, for God’s sake. He was an actor. He was playing a role in a skit. And, you know he was playing the piano keys with his junk, HOW? You are assuming that, because that is what the skit called for. So, as relates to you, he played the role convincingly.
In “Bedtime for Bonzo” Ronald Reagan played second fiddle to a chimp. It was a movie. By your logic, Ronald Reagan was inferior to a chimpanzee. Is that your perception of Ronald Reagan? Or, do you accede to the fact he was just playing a role in a film?
To be honest, I’d generally tend to prefer comedians to actors if it came to electing politicians. Actors can be dumber than a box of hammers. Never known of a successful comedian who was actually stupid because their livelihood depends on them being mentally quick.

As I remember it, Reagan was a governor for quite a while, before trying to run a country, and he was never a comedian (well, he could deliver a joke).
I have NO CLUE as to what that post meant.
They’ll find a way… don’t you worry yourself over that.
You don’t know what your post meant? Paybacks a bitch as you imply it is your Russia striking at our homeland and we deserve it?

Lame attempt at humor, I guess. OBVIOUSLY Russia doesn’t terrorize the West, even given what they’ve had to recently endure.
