Stanford University Attempts To Ban ‘Harmful’ Words, List Includes ‘American’

SStanford University IT released an index of “harmful language” that it recommends be erased from the school’s websites. The list includes the terms “American” and “Hispanic.”

The list is a product of the “Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative,” which aims to “eliminate” words that may be deemed “racist, violent, and biased,” the document reads. The index lists a wide variety of words — some of which are commonly used — and provides an alternative word and an explanation of why the language may be harmful.

There are ten “harmful language” sections outlined in the document including: ableist, ageism, colonialism, culturally appropriate, gender-based, and biased (e.g., disability bias, ethnic bias, ethnic slurs, gender bias, implicit bias, sexual bias) language.

The list recommends banning the term “American” and replacing it with “U.S. Citizen,” as it reportedly implies that the U.S. is the “most important country in the Americas.”

“This term [American] often refers to people from the United States only, thereby insinuating that the US is the most important country in the Americas (which is actually made up of 42 countries),” the list reads.

A person should also use the term “LatinX” instead of “Hispanic,” since the former term is connected to Spanish colonization, the document reads. It also listed the word “Karen,” explaining that it can “ridicule or demean” a group of people due to their behaviors. The list recommends replacing the term “straight” with “heterosexual” because it allegedly “implies that anyone who is not heterosexual is bent or not ‘normal.'” The term “people of color” should also be switched to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).

The “Institutionalized Racism” category bans the terms “black mark,” “brown bag,” “master,” and “white paper” for its alleged racial connotations. The “Person-First” category lists the terms “immigrant,” “prostitute,” and “homeless person” as they define an individual by a single characteristic.

The document included a disclaimer assuring staff and students that it does not intend to completely remove the words from its websites, noting that elimination is “a goal to strive for even if it can’t be achieved.”

DemocRATS love to divide, divide, divide. They just love finding more and more ways to divide us up, and then pit one group against another. They are, after all, the party of segregation and the KKK.

Stanford University, while touting and celebrating ‘diversity’ has developed segregated housing: Ujamaa House is for African-American; Okada House is for Asians; Casa Zapata is for Chicanx and Latinx (99% of Spanish speakers do not like the new Latinx phraseology, and they do not speak Latin either).

The Stanford University website explains: “”Our ethnic theme communities have a rich and long history of engaging students at the highest levels of intellectual discovery and advancing diversity””

‘Advancing diversity’ by segregation. Sounds right out of 1984.

Once the Caucasoid race has been sufficiently denigrated, diminished, etc, they will divide up further, into sub-sub-groups. I remember when Zimmerman VS Trayvon exploded, and for the first time I heard the term White-Hispanic. University of California developed an Asian-White category because too many Asians were admitted to the various UCs around the State. The Asians were succeeding at the same level, or even higher, than the evil Caucasians.

Heck, the word Asian is PART OF the word Caucasian, CaucASIAN, so there must be some contamination, and therefore we must correct enough to achieve ‘equity.’ I remember the ultimate race hustler, shakedown artist, and divider Jessie Jackson rioting and protesting for, not just equity of admissions, but equity of outcomes. In other words, the percentage and quota of diplomas had to equal admissions. You must award a diploma according to race, not achievement. In order to accomplish this, you will need to make sure that they pass enough courses. Whether or not they have mastered the course material is, well, immaterial. You gave Whitey and Asian-Whitey a diploma, you must give others the same diploma. I can just see Jackson and his ilk issuing subpoenas for college transcripts, comparing by race, and then demanding his classic shakedown fee to prevent protests and riots. The fee was often $250,000 to one of Jackson’s many nonprofits, and a hidden fee for himself. He eventually shook down enough places to build all his mansions, horse farms, and baby mommas.

Speaking of baby mommas, another unforgettable moment was the Reverend Jackson ‘ministering’ Clinton during Clinton’s Monica ‘troubles.’ There is a photo from that time, with Clinton, Jackson, and a very pregnant woman by a swimming pool. What is definitely NOT in the caption is the very pregnant woman beside Jackson. She is not his wife. Lovely, just lovely.
