I thought they said it was a targeted killing?
This is like Rolling and the Gainesville murders.
I really don’t think additional killings will happen. The killer will not strike again.
Just a thought.
Moscow police said on Saturday morning that they had more than 10 investigators looking into the murders and that nearly 50 FBI agents are working to crack the case, including a number in Moscow itself.
Grand Prize
REALLY, they can predict crime now.
Why is so much evil happening in Moscow, Idaho?

Either this Police Chief is wildly incompetent and scaring people to death for no reason, or they have very good intel that the killer is poised to strike again.
Hard to tell in a time when just about EVERYONE in a ‘leadership’ position in America is wildly incompetent. :(
It appears as though this vehicle was parked in front of the house the morning of the murders.. Can anyone clarify?
The way I read it, nowhere do the cops actually say that the killer could strike again. They merely warned everybody to take caution, which is understandable and ought to go without saying.
this is Idaho.open carry and concealed carry requires no permit. One jackass isnt going to stop me, or anyone else from a normal lifestyle.
Talk about having nothing to say! “The killer is on the loose. Be careful.”
just whip up a lil hysteria why don’t you... WTF???
This has been one of the most inept investigations I can recall since the Las Vega shooting. A compromised crime scene, the cars not towed for two weeks, too much speculative information released to the public, and the LEOs just telling people to hide in fear and keep their phones with them.
How about telling people to get a firearm and proper training, to stay in groups (not that it helped these poor students much), stay sober, and not to go anywhere with strangers?
Sorry I’m quickly losing much of my confidence in small town America police.
I have reasons:
JonBenét Ramsey— cops made a mess of the crime scene, followed the wrong trail (family!!!) for a decade. Worst of all refused to use modern DNA techniques and the dad begged them to do something just a few weeks ago.
Delphi Indiana double teen murders—truly keystone cops here. They had the killer on video tape and his voice, image everything. Took them FOUR YEARS to name a suspect and the entire time he was living in the town and working at the local CVS in the open …one witness saw him walking home muddy and bloody on the day of the murders and reported it. Deputies have been fired it was so bad.
History is full of botched examples. Look at the Ted Bundy fiasco.

Personal experience.
My ex-coworker had her house cleaned out by thieves. No I mean that literally. They pulled up a moving van while she/husband/family were at work/school and cleaned her house out. Cops never even showed up to dust for finger prints, or check out tire tracks etc (they left many of both in and around her home) even though she called them many times.
I had about $1000 worth of fertilizer stolen out of my barn (probably 3000 today) and had clear tire tracks in the wet ground. Called the cops and they never even sent someone out.
These both happened on the same rural county in southern Indiana.
