We shall see how she caucuses. She may still vote with the Dims on most issues just like the “Independent” Bernie Sanders does.

However, she will caucus with the Democrats.
To: Phlap
Iโm sure she will caucus with the dems. Another โindependentโ Angus King. Nothing changes.

However, she will caucus with the Democrats. A foregone conclusion - but she can charge more to do so!

All smoke and mirrors. Notice she waited until Warnock was elected in Georgia. She had probably already discussed this with Schumer as a way to ease her re-election.

Far too often is forgotten the point of Swift's satire "A Modest Proposal".
All registered "Republican" voters - become "independent" voters ... for all coming elections.
My modest proposal.

This will mean, when Sinema votes with Republicans the vote will go 50-50 with Kammy Harris breaking the tie. When Sinema votes with Democrats the result will be D51-R49. And with the likes of Republicans Murkowski, Romny, etc voting with Democrats it’s even worse.
Forgetaboutit.

Donations to her PAC.
It's how politicians go to Washington broke, and wind up multi-millionaires, while making less than $200,000 a year.

Good for her. She deserves a lot of credit for this.
Hopefully more on the D side will wake up to their evil and do the same thing.
Just one more could do wonders.

Another Bernie you think I guess. Could be, but Iโm going to be more hopeful. The timing is quite interesting.

How so? Liz is in the House, for what, another week.
Kyrsten is in the Senate. Which will now break the Senate down 50-49-1, officially. And, she could still “Caucus with the Democrats” like Bernie if they sweeten things up for her some.
