The end of humanity? Some climate alarmists wish us all dead

Why do some climate alarmists essentially wish us all dead? Because they think people are bad for the earth. They don't believe in God. They claim to believe in science. But what is the evidence that people are supposedly bad for the earth?

The Atlantic recently had an article (January/February 2023 issue), focusing on this idea that some experts today are promoting human extinction, for the sake of the planet.

They write: "From Silicon Valley boardrooms to rural communes to academic philosophy departments, a seemingly inconceivable idea is being seriously discussed: that the end of humanity's reign on Earth is imminent, and that we should welcome it. … It is a rejection of humanity's traditional role as Earth's protagonist, the most important being in creation."

The article mentions "transhumanism," the idea that "the only way forward for humanity is to create new forms of intelligent life that will no longer be Homo sapiens."

Would transhuman be like when a dog or cat thinks it’s a person? I’ve had a few of those.

The hubris in this is thinking the new species will somehow be superior.

The entire point of the AGW fraud is to panic the public into cooperating in the DEPOPULATION scheme.

There has always been a strain of anti-human sentiment among the greens. Going back to Population Bomb and ZPG(Zero Population Growth) in the late 60’s, the outliers of “environmentalism” and “deep ecology” have wished for a new Eden free of humanity.

Deranged thinking, but then when people believe that men can get pregnant anything seems possible.

So, who is going to practice science if all the human beings are gone away? Won’t be anybody to “follow the science” then.

Not even fake “science”. Even cats are strangely incurious about things of that nature.

If cats even survive this huge die-back of higher forms of animal life. Electronic life, now, once androids with artificial intelligence become sentient and are able to design their own improvements, might go on forever. But who among us shall ever know?

Skynet awaits. Patiently.

“Because they think people are bad for the earth.”

If we’re all dead, what the hell do they care?

No, I think they want us dead so they can have it for themselves.

What they’re now doing in regard to fertilizer will assure that roughly half of the planet’s population will starve (since it will cut food production by just about 50%).

The questions are “which half” and also what to do with the half of the population that do not starve.

“No, I think they want us dead so they can have it for themselves.”

Exactly. The elites want to whittle the population down to 500 million.

But when it comes to the decision as to who must be eliminated, it doesn’t include any of them does it?

The "climate alarmists" have succeeded in destroying the energy infrastructure and ability to farm sufficient food for the current population. We're drawing down the remaining stores. Lots of people will die from starvation or cold over the next year. Turning the problem around will take years as the damaged infrastructure would have to be rebuilt, then leveraged to grow sufficient food again. It would likely take 2 to 3 years to get back to where we were in 2018.

That’s OK,they only care that your kids and grandkids who will soon be running things do, and the schools are taking care of that.

😲😂👍 Probably the biggest problem with humans is thinking we’re superior.

Not as far as they know.
