Donald Trump is sometimes his own worst enemy but, as we know from Russiagate, he is also grossly misrepresented in the media. The former president was recently accused of calling for an end to the U.S. Constitution in an inarguably badly-worded TruthSocial post. But he has since clarified that he was not calling for an end to the Constitution. In fact, the post seems to be an awkward argument that a stolen election — and thus an illegitimate government — means that the Constitution would no longer be in force, and thus laws that exist for a republican form of government would not provide solutions. Whether or not his argument is true is a different issue.
Here’s the original post:
“So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”
Trump has now issued a clarification of his earlier post on the same platform, his TruthSocial:
“The Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution. This is simply more DISINFORMATION & LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES & SCAMS. What I said was that when there is ‘MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION,’ as has been irrefutably proven in the 2020 Presidential Election, steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG.

Demon skinwalkers. LOL! I love it!
Ok.
In Angular, If you need to connect to a database, you need to use some backend technologies, like express and nodejs, as the code.
The main way is to expose some backend services, like REST services, developed with a server side techonology (nodejs, j2ee, php, etc) and then use Angular to ask them for data.
Generally to achieve this goal in angular you should use HttpClient
Better?
You make a lot of wrong assumptions about me. That’s okay, I don’t feel like correcting you.
>>After 5 or 6 years of this, he should know better.
Yep, he is his own worst enemy at times. I thought he had only a minor chance at getting re-elected anyway, but this quote - even if/when taken out of context - is the final nail in his coffin.
It WILL be shown/played, over, and over, and over again at every opportunity for the rest of his life.
Very few people are going to vote for someone who runs on a campaign of suspending the constitution. His political career is OVER.
He can’t take the tweet back, no matter how many times he tries to clarify it - the media won’t let him.
Of course the press lied and the ran with it.
No he didn’t !
I knew exactly what he meant.!!!!!
Why didn’t you???
Laz you know…..YOU KNOW the media will jump on Trump words …twist them….and spew them out every which way
Trump has the commie-dems talking about the constition and in some cases even trying to defend it. LOL.
“Very bad statement”
If only he could have waxed on eloquently about the hair on his legs at the lake.
Or wandered around aimlessly after making it, needing help to not fall.
I’m with you. I assume someone means what they actually say. And we saw what he said. He’s walking it back now because of all the backlash.
And Ukraine is winning,
This...
That one line could be interpreted two ways. One interpretation was sinister ("I'd dismiss the Constitution and just become president, if I could") and the other interpretation was benign and correct ("Fraus Omnia Vitiat... Fraud vitiates everything. The actions of Democrats are such that all rules, even the Constitution, has been destroyed by them.")
Now look at my second interpretation. I stated it in such a way that it CANNOT be misinterpreted. Why can't Trump?
I know you, and many others, immediately saw that Trump was trying to express the second of my two interpretations. My only point was this: His quote was vague enough to have two interpretations. Why be vague at all? I was able to state his point in a way that was not vague. That is my point.
"Fraus Omnia Vitiat... Fraud vitiates everything. The actions of Democrats are such that all rules, even the Constitution, has been destroyed by them." Bang. Zoom. Game over.
However, Jim Robinson states, accurately, that one of the things we loved about Trump in 2016 was that he was bold and combative in his statements. It's a good point.
If only he could have waxed on eloquently about the hair on his legs at the lake. Or wandered around aimlessly after making it, needing help to not fall.
LOL! Excellent rebuttal. It clearly demonstrates the incredible partisan bias of the Enemedia.
It has been said that the "Mainstream" News Media is an arm of the Democrat party. I correct people. It is the reverse. The Democrat Party is an arm of the "Mainstream" News Media.
We haven’t been a republic for two years.
We might as well say so.
See, now you are going too far in the other direction. You are taking the first interpretation and going too far with it.
Yeah, I suppose that’s a good point.
I read Trump’s original truth, then forgot, as I kept hearing he called for takeover of Constitution. Unfortunately, even a true MAGAist needs a blast of truth every once in a while.
The truly controversial and bombshell thing Trump claimed was that we are no longer living in a Republic
—
And haven’t been since Noxious Nixon. You are just noting another stage in the clamp down.
Good analysis. The MSM are malevolent. Did you see the Fortune opinion? Deeply disturbing read.
