There are a couple of threads going on on FreeRepublic about this and I do not think people understand what certification of an election is and what it would mean not to certify a County election. I am attaching an article from today's Lake Havasu City Paper that I think did a very good job reporting what happened yesterday. I will be happy to answer any questions that anyone has. Mohave County is the most Conservative County in Arizona if not the whole Southwest. If I believed, for one minute, not certifying the Mohave County election would lead to something or even MEAN something positive, I would have done it in a heartbeat, even if it meant jail. But that just is not how this thing works guys.
Re: 51 - Why don’t you spare us your third term and resign?
Said behind a keyboard, anonymously.
Grow up and stop the name calling.
Sorry, but if you have not noticed, that's not the way it works for some posters.
They hammer others for what they should have done - all from the comfort of their keyboard. No going to AZ to peaceably protest, no doing themselves what they ask others to do.
We may not like the result, but the OP explained the issue and Mohave County did what they did. That's not good enough for some. Oh well.
so the honest people involved, like you, follow the rules and race to certify and forgo proper due diligence, while those who break the rules, like the entire BOS and Katie Hobbs, do whatever the hell they want and steal the election.
Spit.
If they cheated in the first place, they’ll cheat in the recount. But even assuming the recount was fair and somehow Hamaddeh won the recount, the price would be certifying the stolen races that don’t qualify for a recount - (e.g. Lake, Finchem). Hamaddeh is the least impressive of the MAGA candidates. Without Lake and Finchem, nothing will change, and the 2020 election shenanigans will never be investigated.
Don’t take it personally. Freepers are super skeptical about everything. and...... I remember your father posting here and that he wrote a Leo Durocher biography.
Not certifying would have prevented the state from certifying or at the very least would have made state certification uncertain. Instead, you’ve let Cochise County take all the heat. You could have stood with them and made the same choice they made. If you had, the chances of blocking state certification would have been increased.
“If we did not certify Mohave County’s votes it would have disenfranchised all the voters from Mohave County. NOT Maricopa County.”
You’re disenfranchising the voters of Mohave County by letting Maricopa County override their choice on state-wide races throughvoter fraud.
Dang girl - talk about being between a rock and hard place!!
Thanks for stepping up to the plate. You did the right thing.
Slough off the rampant ignorance at FR.
Kari Lake just addressed this, in a segment on Bannon’s Warroom.
She made some great points….including about standing strong, for AZ…and, this country’s election integrity.
EVERY county should be doing this.
Here is the link to the excellent Kari Lake/Bannon segment, from just a little while ago....

OK, so you are a bend over and take it guy, we get that.
Hildy, agree with Nextrush.
I don’t know that the fix was in.
DEFINITELY there were problems with over 21% of voting LOCATIONS (not machines-—some locations had ALL machines out).
I voted at one, but when I saw the machines were out, we went to another 2 mi. away. You can vote at any location in AZ (good) and I didn’t find it much of an inconvenience. But it is absolutely not normal and not kosher.
Did it make a difference? I think a much bigger difference is in the evil McTurdite wing of the GOP that is still slithering around here. Kimberly (RINO) Yee, who couldn’t get anywhere in the gov race, won the Treasurers’ position by 100,000 MORE votes than Lake. Why? The McTurdites voted for her. This is as big a problem in AZ as any fraud. And we do have a fraud problem in Maricopa.
Copy Florida’s system. Some 8 million votes counted in 5 hours.
When you can not do the right thing, you resign before doing the wrong thing. Been there done that. We all love you, you are family even thou you screwed up. LOL
It is near impossible for me to have any faith in the reliability of the election system. When I see someone such as you sitting on a board that certifies these votes, I can not comprehend why you can't do anything. That being said, I have no idea what it is you do, so please do not take offense to my questions.
As I understand it, Cochise county asked for a county wide recount and was told they were not allowed. If you are not allowed to recount / audit, what does certification actually mean? If there was any cheating in Tucson, wouldn’t finding it destroy the credibility of the voting machines in the entire state? If we are not willing to recount in our “Red” areas, why would we expect a recount in only the blue areas? This looks like the same movie we have seen before, you can’t challenge until there is certification, and certification is proof there is nothing wrong and the count is accurate.
Again, do not take this personally, but perhaps you could educate us as to what the process is and how do we fix the system?
I think you did the best you could. Never mind the folks here who talk tough from a safe distance.
My friend many factors at play including the decision of the “McCain Faction” of the GOP in AZ to go Samson and “bring the house down” or in this case much of the Republican ticket.
The same happened here in PA with the “Tom Ridge Faction” a third party the “Keystone Party” was allowed on the ballot alongside the Libertarians to siphon off GOP votes in the General Election hurting Oz and Mastriano.
The Liberal Republicans hurt the unity of the Republican Party one could argue and do they understand that two can play this game if they end up having their way and putting their people at the top of the ticket folks like us can go Samson too.
She dropped on mine after the 2020 fraud.
