Maybe Musk is trying to bait Trump back to Twitter for the inevitable mobs it would bring, from both sides.

Ron hasn't said he's running. We're still a full year out from when the campaign season really begins. Give it time.

I like him. He’s done a great job of turning Florida around. Although cant speak Spanish..and they refuse to speak English.
But I’d like to hear what he would do as president ..before I go all in.
Who does he align with on the national stage?

I see nothing wrong with this. If l had my way Trump would be President by end of day. As it stands l donāt think Trump can win a national election and itās not just the cheating which is insurmountable it would seem.

Bingo! Why are these people endorsing someone who isn’t running?

I doubt Ron runs in 2024 but I am good with the owner of Twitter now supporting a conservative for President.
We need more conservative/libertarian leaning billionaires to buy media platforms.

On Musk's own Twitter, Trump has nearly 88,000,000 followers while the verified @RonDeSantisFL account has nearly 1,400,000.
Nothing against DeSantis but that is still quite a gap.

Breitbart. This isn’t the Breitbart of 10 years ago. New people are running the show, and they aren’t conservatives.
To: ChicagoConservative27
It’s going to be DeSantis vs. Newsom. Newsom says he will not run if Biden runs for a second term but we all know Biden will not run again.

DeSantis isn’t running, and Trump says he’s worse than Biden.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Ron hasn't said he's running. He hasn't said he not running either. He could resolve all this by just saying he's going to fill out his term as governor that he was just reelected to.

Well, I do think there is a bit of a media and public groundswell for a DeSantis candidacy. Whether it becomes real is yet to be determined. President Trump had the election stolen from him in 2020 but as I’ve already written, I’ve moved on. He as not acquitted himself well in completing what he says or starts, failed to fight the steal, didn’t backup candidate’s with his $100 million plus campaign PAC, etc. Plus, all of the personal quirks are getting very, very tiresome. Maybe we can get McConnell, McCarthy, and Trump to all agree jointly to step aside?

This was just an off hand comment. No promises made that he would keep it nor that it would be exclusively for DeSantis
