Former Hallmark Channel star Candace Cameron Bure left that now-"woke" network, and has revealed that her new TV network will focus on “traditional marriage,” as opposed to gay couples, in its Christmas movies.
For that unforgivable offense, the conservative actress has been attacked as a homophobe and a bigot, and has even been compared to Eva Braun.
In an interview Monday in The Wall Street Journal, Candace Cameron Bure spoke about the Great American Family network, for which she serves as the chief creative officer.
She joined the family-oriented network after departing the Hallmark Channel, where she starred in numerous Christmas movies before the channel decided to go woke by vigorously embracing LGBTQ plotlines and characters - and turning off a huge part of its fanbase, causing ratings to plummet, especially around Christmastime.
“GAC fits my brand perfectly....we share a vision of creating compelling, wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family. Great, quality entertainment with a positive message is what my partnership with GAC is all about.” Now with the holidays fast approaching and a “Great American Christmas” series set to rival Hallmark’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming, Bure has hinted that, unlike Hallmark, GAF will present basic Christian teaching, including marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman.“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” she told the newspaper when asked about the subject.
But Bure’s brief comment has sparked outrage from the LGBTQ cancel mob, as well as fellow entertainment industry names. Actress Hilarie Burton called her a “bigot” in a tweet. “You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank.”

“The left do not have minds.”
The mind is a terrible thing to waste. The Leftists wasted theirs.
I notice FRNDLY features at least two hallmarky channels...
Today’s Hallmark: “When you care to send the very worst.”
There I was, enjoying my fru-fru boy meets girl happy movies with fantastic Christmas decorations and dialogue filled with talk of God when suddenly, there are two guys kissing!
Ah geez, I don’t want to watch that! Along comes Cameron Bure advertising her new role on an alternative channel. Lo and behold, I find that channel and there a lot of actors that I recognize from the Hallmark movies. Good for them for giving us an alternative to what is fast becoming an anti God, anti traditional family movie venue.
Candace Cameron Bure will weather this storm because she knows God is on her side and she’ll tell you about!
🤗
She wrote Math books, right?
You forgot “they kiss and it snows.” And someone has a Golden Retriever.
Lol!
My wife used to LOVE these corny, predictable, unrealistic stories, but not long before the woke/gay onslaught, even she couldn’t take it anymore.
She knew that every ‘actor’ - these hunks the chicks were falling for, are flaming homos in real life.
I can’t stand to watch two men kissing. If that make me a homophobe, then so be it. I stopped watching New Amsterdam when they had two guys rolling around in bed together. Disgusting! And the show NCIS Hawaii is losing me because of the two lesbians on the show. It is becoming all about them and their love life. It is ruining the show. Dropping it off my list. The LGTBQ have most all the shows and movies as it is and they complain about one show or network that doesn’t include their perversions. Boohoo for them! I am tired of their coercion and cancel culture.
LOL I walked in in the middle of a HM Christmas movie my wife was watching. When she started to bring me up to date on the “plot” I stopped her and told her what had happened and what would happen.
That was a mistake.
I gave away my TVs. I do not let those people in my house.
I read books.
Life is more serene now - have much more Joy.
She visits the RR because she is getting away from the big city after a bad breakup from an abusive relationship.
I would do that if my eyes were better. I try the audible books but headphones hurt my ears. Sharing a home with a man that doesn’t read and is always watching TV. We do our best to watch movies and shows that are family friendly or about true events and people.
bfl
Yes. Math books. Has a BS in Math from UC.
I remember seeing her on an episode of NCIS.
The father from Wonder Years was also on an episode of NCIS.
A big plus is that I can watch these movies with my pre-teen grandkids and not worry that something unseemly will pop up on the screen.
Good luck to GAC and all its staff and actors!
Received Freepmail and someone seems to have found the channel for free as per GAC FaceBook page.

“I’ll have to check in to that FRNDLY service. I looked a GAF yesterday, trying to see if it’s available for Roku or Fubo, which we have, then I got interrupted”
According to this site, yes FUBO has it.
