Former Hallmark Channel star Candace Cameron Bure left that now-"woke" network, and has revealed that her new TV network will focus on “traditional marriage,” as opposed to gay couples, in its Christmas movies.
For that unforgivable offense, the conservative actress has been attacked as a homophobe and a bigot, and has even been compared to Eva Braun.
In an interview Monday in The Wall Street Journal, Candace Cameron Bure spoke about the Great American Family network, for which she serves as the chief creative officer.
She joined the family-oriented network after departing the Hallmark Channel, where she starred in numerous Christmas movies before the channel decided to go woke by vigorously embracing LGBTQ plotlines and characters - and turning off a huge part of its fanbase, causing ratings to plummet, especially around Christmastime.
“GAC fits my brand perfectly....we share a vision of creating compelling, wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family. Great, quality entertainment with a positive message is what my partnership with GAC is all about.” Now with the holidays fast approaching and a “Great American Christmas” series set to rival Hallmark’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming, Bure has hinted that, unlike Hallmark, GAF will present basic Christian teaching, including marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman.“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” she told the newspaper when asked about the subject.
But Bure’s brief comment has sparked outrage from the LGBTQ cancel mob, as well as fellow entertainment industry names. Actress Hilarie Burton called her a “bigot” in a tweet. “You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank.”

I absolutely am a homophobe and a bigot. The homos are destroying our society, schools, children, churches - what is not to fear? And I would exclude homos from and anything I am engaged in without question. They are poison and revolting.

We found the channel last spring. I have found the plot lines on GAC more interesting than Hallmark—Hallmark had been getting a little too cookie cutter to me. Stopped watching for most part when they went woke.
GAC is trying something that I hope will work.
Everyone knows that much of the offerings are not for heavy thinkers. You could unscrew your head put it on the sofa next to you and still enjoy the show.
Does NOT REQUIRE DEEP THOUGHT, OR SHOCK, OR HORROR, but watching the insipid movies gives one a feeling of peace and normalcy and family and friends.
In other words...PURE CHICK FLICKS. And some of the guys are pretty good lookers...even with their little wigs on.
We enjoy them and we do have IQs more than two digits.
More than a few Black actors from HM have come over.

Good for her. Thanks for the good news. Great American Family network. Recently I watched a Hallmark show with family members and there were two ladies exchanging rings and smiling at each other. Quickly the channel was changed and the all family members were startled, upset and really confused. Hallmark + Lifetime + Disney + Gillet = failures.

City girl working for Megacorp™ visits rural relatives during a snowy Christmas season. She meets gay looking "hunk" who is a lumberjack/carpenter/farmer and "falls in love".She quits her job at Megacorp™, moves to the country, becomes engaged to gay lumberjack, and opens a boutique cookie 'n' cupcake shop on Main Street. The End.
HHMMMM; the left compared her to Eva Braun, as far as I know Eva Braun never hurt anybody except herself by falling in love with a psychopath named Adolf Hitler.
She paid the ultimate price for that mistake, HER LIFE.
From what I have read about Eva she was a bit of a flake, but that applies to an awful lot of people, then and now.
