Former first daughter Ivanka Trump said late Tuesday that she would play no part in her father’s 2024 presidential campaign, one day after The Post reported the former commander-in-chief had pleaded with her to be on stage with him when he announced his run.
“I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” Ivanka, 41, said in a statement.
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” she added. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.”

Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, was part of the audience of approximately 1,000 people that crammed Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom for the long-anticipated campaign kickoff, but his wife — an unpaid adviser during her dad’s presidency — did not appear.
Sources told The Post Monday that Donald Trump, 76, spent part of daughter Tiffany’s wedding this past weekend trying to cajole Jared and Ivanka to join him on stage for the announcement and present a united family front — appeals that were rejected.

There ya go, girl. Good for you!
yay!
what about jared?
Take Jarod with you.
And take your goofy looking husband with you!
I was hoping this would happen. The Jared part, I mean.
Does this mean she and Jared are going to keep their traps shut?
Too bad Trump ever let her meddle in his administration in the first place.
We can hope that will also sideline Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, from any role in the Trump campaign or in a new Trump administration.
Hopefully, that will help the campaign.
Exactly, why does he need a Liberal giving him advice any way?
Be nice, Gang. I met her in Manchester NH in Feb 2016 as she campaigned while 8 months pregnant with her second child. She helped get this started. And she has been abused by the Left ever since. She is under no obligation to you or anyone. If you REALLY support PDJT, you will support her decision.
I am 100% for her and Jerod to have a lessor or no role. Neither was particularly helpful in the first term. I have always liked Ivanka, long before this was political. She’s not right of center and her husband came from a highly corrupt New Jersey democrat family.
Good, Trump is better off without Ivanka and her douchebag husband Jared.
Good. Make sure her husband stays out too.
Doubt it. At a crucial moment, Javanka is likely to stick in a knife and denounce President Trump.
You three all nailed the natural follow on to the headline IMMEDIATELY!
LOL
I want Javanka no where near political power. The Trump sons seem pretty OK, but even there, I am not in favor of hereditary political leadership from either side of the aisle. We fought the Revolutionary War to end that, and modern media seems to be the reason we sometimes appear to be heading back to it.
Baron, Eric, Eric’s wife, and Jared were at the announcement.
Don Jr and Ivanka were not. Haven’t heard about Don Jr’s fiancé.
I hear Don Jr. skipped too. What’s up with that?
