Did the polls get it wrong again?
The hill ^ | 11/12/2022 | Julia Mueller

The Democrats’ surprisingly strong showing in the midterm elections has raised a familiar question: Did the pollsters get it wrong again?

Heading into Nov. 8, polls from across the industry gave Republicans the clear edge in battleground races, as well as on the generic ballot. The data bolstered the belief among pundits that a red wave was on the rise.

The mystery is why being up by 2.5 didn’t translate into more seats.

That is the mystery. We need to learn what the Dems did and copy it, in terms of microtargeting, early vote, etc.

No way we win in 2024. The GOP candidate would have to be acceptable to the Rats, and probably Liz Cheney is the only one who would be acceptable.

Would like to do a little test this next general election,
and run all elections in each state from seven to seven.

Make it a national holiday, and check Ids.

We’ll just see how the Democrats do.

NO MAIL IN. Get your ass over there, or you don’t vote.

I guess we’ll have another 70 lawsuits. I think we might have won one from the 2020 election.

NO THEY DIDN’T GET IT WRONG. The just didn’t take fraud and election stealing by the Stalinist RATs into consideration.

“Polls were accurate but never factored in democrat cheating!!!!”

...which they now have down to a science and have no issue with cheating in the open for the world to see. They’re double dog daring us to call them on it.

What were the poll results for day-of voting states, vs those with lenient early voting?

In many of the races, when early voting started the Dems were in the lead, compounded by their ballot collection, and only at the end when a sizeable number of people had already voted did the Republicans take the lead.

Early voting undermines democracy, as does ballot harvesting - which is legal in one form or another in many states.

The only reason for polls is to figure out where to steal votes.

How else you think a loser like Fetterman was elected to the Senate?

Fetterman was elected based upon a combination of the media running his campaign for him - which makes it *better* for him not to actually be seen - and the ballot harvesting and Early voting, which makes it *better* for him that people don’t care or have paid attention. These things allow an election which gives the illusion of democracy.

Pollsters sampled based on an assumed a D+2 or 3 political alignment. Most likely, with all the new Gen-Z voters out there, the US is probably closer to D+6.

They’ve improved their cheating techniques quite a bit, since the she-devil thought she stole it.

Sure, we're supposed to believe polls, even ones that are biased toward Democrats, overestimated Republican support.

Denying the impact of cheat by mail and ballot harvesting will assure we've seen the last Republican President.

I don’t have a lot of income (well under 40K) but I have sent some to people in races I believe in. This year I sent any money I would have given to True the Vote and Judicial Watch.
We also were trained to be poll watchers and had conservatives at the voting location for the first time throughout the day.

The polls undercounted illegal aliens and dead people, two of the democrats most reliable voting blocks. Plus they assumed that democrats would only get one vote each.

I keep wondering if the “Huge Red Wave” hype was an October Surprise calculated to keep Republicans from expending the effort required to actually VOTE.
