According to a recent poll, reports of President Donald Trump’s demise as GOP figurehead may be highly exaggerated.

The new poll from Premise Data shows that Trump leads with 65 percent of support from the field, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with only 15 percent of support. No other probable contender gets over 7 percent.

The poll results can be seen here:

Big League Politics has reported on RINOs coming out of the woodwork to declare Trump as dead and non-viable in an attempt to gaslight Republican voters into ditching their heroic leader:

No one wanted to go against Trump. Pay attention

2024 will be different.

Trump is no longer an unknown entity facing 15 establishment Republicans.

He now has a track record. A track record of successes and a track record of failures.

Guys like DeSantis and Youngkin will know how to take him on a debate stage. They won't be stumbling and babbling like Trump's opponents in 2016. They'll be punching back and some of those punches will be below the belt but they're going to hurt nonetheless.

Best thing DeSantis can do for his political career is to announce that he will not be seeking the presidency in 2024. And do it soon.

That would be my advice as well.

I remember seeing that Kiev would fall in 2 weeks.

“Even before all this my stance was Trump had better advise up front who would be on his team this time, instead of the backstabbers of his first term.”

Unfortunately, all any Republican President is going to get out of the “DC menu” is backstabbers. Its a game DC has been playing since the Nixon takedown.

All Presidential picks are controlled by the Washington DC establishment, plus the alphabet security bureaucracies, it won’t be any different during a DeSantis Presidency.

When DeSantis has to discard a loyalist from Florida, it’ll happen just like it happened to Presidents Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, Trump, etc.

DC doesn’t let you keep your “little state team” together.

Read the methodology. Self-selected group (you had to have the app on your phone and choose to participate in the poll) and participants were paid to take part. No controls or randomness to the selection of those polled. So the results could be accurate by sheer chance or could be wildly off, but the polling itself is pure garbage.

Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen?

I believe there were some shenanigans.

But I also believe that Trump blew it, for the most part.

He handed the country over to Fauci and Birx where they destroyed the economy and then his behavior pretty much chased away all the independent voters who held their nose in 2016 and voted for him because they loathed Hillary more.

And because of this, he has absolutely no chance to win in 2024. Outside of the devoted base, he's thoroughly toxic.

Who cares? I'm sick of seeing these posts and don't generally read them but this is really getting old.

Ron DeSantis just won, by a landslide, a second term. He deserved this, he works his ass off for Florida and does it for ALL Floridians and they recognize that.

DeSantis has given absolutely no indication that he is going to run for President and all the b.s. of attacking him; of pitting him against Trump is just that: BULLSH*T.

2024 is a mere two years away. Personally, I just don't see DeSantis crapping on his state by abandoning his job or abandoning them to run for the Presidency. It would be a disgrace (imho) if he did so and he strikes me as a man of honor.

Trump launched unwarranted, unjustified and most importantly, unprovoked attacks on DeSantis which completely disgusted me and trust me, I've been a rock solid Trump supporter and knew he was the man, the day he rode that escalator down and made THAT speech. I've (we've) defended him for 7 years but the attack on DeSantis is completely indefensible. Hearing the bragging about who won and how 'he' helped has become exhausting. I'm sick of it. S.I.C.K. of it.

With that said, imho, Trump should be the 2024 nominee/winner. Because the job ahead is going to take a nasty, spiteful, and brutal man to wade through, once again, the sewage that is D.C. and if he is, I'll do everything I can to support him. It won't be with the same adoration I once had but still will support him.

*************************************************************

The Republican candidate O’Dea lost to the DemocRAT candidate for that US Senate seat. Are you happy with that outcome? Yes, this question is part of an IQ test.
