Sears was on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Thursday discussing whether Trump needs to step aside.
“Voters have spoken, and they have said that they want a different leader. And a true leader understands when they have become a liability,” Sears said. “A true leader understands that it’s time to step off the stage, and the voters have given us that very clear message. Because this is about America.”
“So if the party wants to move on or some in the party such as yourself, Lt. Governor, maybe Gov. Youngkin feels the same way, but Donald Trump still makes a speech next week that he wants to run for president, what would you think about that?” Cavuto asked.
“I could not support him. I just couldn’t, because we have seen, for example, in those states where he has endorsed the candidates in fact, Republicans on the same ticket who he did not endorse, over performed whereas his candidates totally underperformed by as much as 10 points. We have a clear mission, and it is time to move on.”

They don’t have any reason to hate on DeSantis other than the fact Trump is leading them on.
The best they have is a twitter post by Richard “Red Wave” Baris, a close associate of Steve Bannon, who claimed that Paul Ryan and Kevn McCarthy were looking for a horse to run against Trump and were considering between DeSantis, Youngkin, and Tim Scott.
That’s it. Baris backed off later when Trump endorsed McCarthy for speaker, again, and then posted on Twitter he never said anyone ever met with DeSantis, etc.

I just realized that without WI, PA, MI, it doesn’t matter how hard Trump works, he will not sit behind the Big Desk again. Trump (or his candidates) have not won those states since 2016. How does that change?

I didn’t believe I could ever feel this way, but the MSM
has been right all along. Hillary was right. She and
those who tried to remove Trump for collusion with Russia
were right. Those who conspired to use illegal means to
remove Trump by election there-by pull off a coup, they
were right.
Trump was wrong to build the wall. He was wrong to
appoint SCOTUS justices who would strike down Roe v
Wade.
He was wrong to institute policies that saw our stock
markets roar. He was wrong to institute policies that
kept our energy prices low and product abundant. He
was wrong to reduce the unemployment rates for Blacks,
Hispanics, and women to all time lows.
I could go on, but you catch my drift. He has said
some bad illogical things, and this time they’ve
finally got him on the run like they always promised
they would. Thank heaven for that.

He didn’t allow people to trash him and remain silent
He didn’t come down on the side of the illegal immigrant.
He didn’t praise Leftists and agree with the One World
Odor. How could I have been so blind, and so critical
of the Bush family for doing these sorts of things.
If only I could take all that back.
I can’t image four more years of the kind of things
Trump did last time, and so I join the DNC, the RNC,
the GOPe, the MSM, and every Leftist Democrat and
the RINOs, to condemn Trump and demand he pass the
torch to someone who knows what they are doing.
Mitch, Paul, a whole host of Republicans who slandered
him and demanded he step down, were right.
Refusing to work with him was the best thing that
ever happened to this nation.
Pelosi, Rove, the Bushes, the Cheney’s, the McCains,
McConnell, Ryan, and so many more wise people, I have
come to understand that you were right all along.
It’s time to move on from Trump.
I see so many of my FReeper buds now saying this, and
although I thought they should be ashamed for acting
like that, I have come to see just how wise they were.
I’d like to suggest we get behind De Santis, but then
I realized he would certainly support about 99.99% of
what Trump did, so I’d just like to cut to the chase
now rather than waste another four years, when we
would turn on him too.
So lets look for someone that doesn’t believe in what
Trump does. Liz Cheney, Megan McCain... I don’t know
guys, these women were out there trashing Trump long
before any of us were. I’ve had to change my long
standing disagreement with them.
CNN, the View, all these amazing places that said things
about Trump that so many of us now seem to agree with,
I salute these people. Finally, I can watch these
programs and feel at home with my fellow travelers.
If only we had listened.
I don’t know about others, but I feel so much better
knowing I have the best fellow travelers I could have
now that I’ve seen the light.
He’s finally on the run. He’ll withdraw from public
life any day now. He’ll be in prison within months if
he doesn’t, perhaps anyway.

Funny, but I think Trump only did it once. Even then, it was because HRC was too busy sitting on her big blue wall.
Since then, the Dems went to work on their ground game, and Trump has failed ever since.
He was President in 2018, and he let them run his people out of Washington.
He was President in 2020, and he let them pull that stuff that cost him his job.
Even now, in 2022, even knowing about the Steal, he could not save his candidates. Indeed, MI went even more blue than it was.

His guy barely eaked-out a run-off in GA. Assuming Kari can get elected and change AZ and hoping the Reed machine stays busted in NV, Trump will still need one of those three states in order to sit in the Oval Office again.

I've seen many of your posts the last couple of days. Your "argument" against anyone who posts anything contrary to your opinion about Trump is that they are old. Insults don't change minds. Obviously, you're a Trump fanboy, but the reality is that his personality turns off a lot of people, especially women. I've been one of Trump's staunchest defenders over the last six years, but am one of those people who is beginning to be turned off. It doesn't bother me at all if you disagree.
I think Winsome just made a mistake. We’ll see.
