Winsome Sears, Who Worked To Reelect Trump, Says She ‘Could Not’ Support Him Again(Et tu Brute?)
Daily Caller ^ | 11-9-2022 | BRIANNA LYMAN

Posted on 11/10/2022 12:47:33 PM PST by Vendome

Sears was on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Thursday discussing whether Trump needs to step aside.

“Voters have spoken, and they have said that they want a different leader. And a true leader understands when they have become a liability,” Sears said. “A true leader understands that it’s time to step off the stage, and the voters have given us that very clear message. Because this is about America.”

“So if the party wants to move on or some in the party such as yourself, Lt. Governor, maybe Gov. Youngkin feels the same way, but Donald Trump still makes a speech next week that he wants to run for president, what would you think about that?” Cavuto asked.

“I could not support him. I just couldn’t, because we have seen, for example, in those states where he has endorsed the candidates in fact, Republicans on the same ticket who he did not endorse, over performed whereas his candidates totally underperformed by as much as 10 points. We have a clear mission, and it is time to move on.”

Oz was losing the entire primary until Trump endorsed him... Trump owns some very larger responsibility for the OZ fiasco.. and even with OZ’s endorsement he just barely won the primary...

OZ fiasco isn’t fully Trump’s fault, no but he has culpability, as to Hannity and the establishment GOP for their ruthless attempt to destroy Barnette when she became a real threat.

No Trump isn’t solely responsible for the Oz fiasco, but he absolutely has culpability in it.

Because they are planning on doing to DeSantis what they did to Trump in 2016..they propped him up, he appeared on the View, Joyless Behar kissed his fanny..he went on Scarborough, he and his wifey kissed his fanny, and the SECOND he got the nomination they dropped the hammer on him..but the GOP is stuck on stupid, AGAIN, letting the media who despises them tell them what to think, Good Lord this party is done

I could honestly care less if Trump runs in 2024 or not..if DeSantis runs I will walk over broken glass to vote for him, I really really like him and I wish he were my Governor..I just hate the way the GOP is treating Trump, after all he did for the party this is how they repay him...like THIS its PATHETIC acting like that is how a party stays a minority party forever

It’s Uniparty, endless war / World War IV and godless agendas.

President Trump is Emmanuel Goldstein and we’ve always been at war with Eastasia.

When I was doing survey work we used to do “focus groups” of our customers. I would see managers get pissed because they wanted to respond and defend every negative comment.

I had to convince them to sit quietly and listen.

All of the poor managers had excuses; a reason why their customers didn’t like them. They could not comprehend it was their fault.

The good managers listened.

The great managers took notes and fixed stuff.

Trump has an excuse for everything. It’s never his fault.

Yep. Trump brought this on himself. I will vote for him if he is the nominee but doubt he’ll make it.

For all of Oz's flaws, I knew from the start that he had the best chance of winning the general election of all the top GOP contenders in that primary. What's most disappointing of all was that Oz was the best of a mostly sorry bunch of losers.

Pennsylvania has been dragged down by some terrible GOP candidates in several consecutive election cycles.

You have to understand the “PARTY” never liked Trump, which is why they were an active part of the steal that happened in 2020...

I support Trump, but if anyone things that the way things were on 11/7 in GOP politics are the same now, they are kidding themselves.

11/8 was an inexcusable loss, and blaming just 1 man for it is stupid.... but equally you can’t honestly say, we can’t question Trump’s impact here either. It’s not wrong to say the big ticket players he endorsed performed poorly, often well under other GOP candidates in their respective states.. you can’t ignore it and turn a blind eye to that.

The NeverTrumpers are going to make the argument that Trump’s why... and will beat that drum fully and constantly.. because they have wanted him gone since the day he showed up... and those people are fools...

The entire party from top to bottom needs to honestly introspect... nothing and no one should be beyond review and rethink.

I haven’t been trolled, but I also refuse to stick my face up Trump’s rear-end. Unless the coming winters are really cold and the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states literally freeze over due to lack of heating oil, Trump will never again achieve 270.

I can see the reality of 270.

Can you?

I agree..he chose some bad hombres you’re right..heck the majority of them I wouldnt know from a hole in the wall. I only know the local races since Im here in SoCal, been paying attention more to Caruso/Bass..I commend Trump for trying, for going out there and busting his butt, in the pouring rain, to campaign for these people..can we do better, absolutely we can..but we cant not discuss how young people came out in droves due to the dobbs decision, we have to look at the demos, this country unfortunately is NOT pro life like we want it to be this country favors abortion, its sick but its true..they want abortion access, and that made a huge difference..young people are programmed in schools to vote Dem that is just the way it is..and I think if the Dobbs decision had never happened, we would have cleaned their clocks..but the dems had something to run on, abortion, and that made all the difference in the world..notice in the exit polling no one mentioned muh democracy, nope, it was the economy and abortion, and when I saw that I knew it was going to be a long long night

Sounds great. How does Trump achieve 270 without WI, PA, MI?

PA has now voted for 2 brain-addled people instead of Trump during the last two cycles.

You can brag all you want … show me the path!

She’s parroting Paul Ryan talking points.

Looks like the RINOs are making their move after blaming everything on Trump and not their own incompetent leadership. The GOP should be ashamed of itself.

Bottom line ... if Desantis makes it to the White House in 2024, he will be GEORGE W BUSH II !!! That’s not an attack on Desantis ... I like the guy ... it’s just what will happen.

Desantis is currently a conservative governor and doesn’t really have to answer to anyone, but I’ve seen stories of him paling around with the old guard ... you know, the disgusting pieces of political garbage like Jeb Bush, glorified welfare recipient Karl Rove (it must hurt to be a porky little TV gnome whose sole skill in life is turning dollars into horrible political campaigns), or outright disgustoids like that fat idiot Bill Kristol. Once they burn almost $1B to try and get Desantis into office in 2024, he will be at their mercy.

If Desantis makes the mistake of listening to RINOs and runs, the conservative base of the (R) party is going to get fractured. That will make things VERY difficult in 2024. Desantis has to remember that Trump dragged him across the finish line in 2018 ... Desantis almost lost to a crack addict that likes to meet up with dudes in motel rooms. Of course, one could argue that Trump lost to a demented pedophile, but if you think that election was on the up-and-up, you need to lay off the TV and look at the raw data.

If Desantis waits until 2028, he could potentially inherit a booming economy and a more right leaning electorate should Trump deliver on various promises. Barring any disasters, Desantis will more than likely be known as a wildly popular, two term governor of a large state by the time he finishes in 2026 ... the POTUS race would be his to lose in 2028 and there will be no party infighting.

Bottom line, if Desantis buys their garbage and somehow wins, we will get another neocon “compassionate conservative” that will hand almost 60 Rat Senate seats and 240+ House seats to a Kenyan once the DS is done milking him for one or two terms.

Let Trump finish what he started ... assuming he even wants to at this point ... seeing all of these people suddenly change gears due to Fox News neocon scum like Paul Ryan blaming 2022 on Trump makes me sick ... this is war against these communist pricks ... you don’t go changing generals because the enemy tells you that you should.

“ Let Trump finish what he started ... you don’t go changing generals because the enemy tells you that you should.”

Three Questions:

1) How can Trump get to 270 without MI, WI, PA?
2) How can Trump ‘finish what he started’ if he cannot get to 270?
3) Abe was known for changing generals because he needed someone that could win!

Life is unfair, and Trump’s time is over.

LOL....another anti-Trump RINO exposed.

Rachel Maddow & Paul Ryan must be very proud of you.

btw, the DNC/Communist VOTER FRAUD system remains in place for 2024...and will be even greater than 2020 and 2022.

**************************************************************************

Serious question from a Trump supporter who is mystified by all these unnecessary anti-DeSantis shots suddenly being taken recently. What “Bush-like” things has he done in Florida that make you think that he’ll be a “New Bush”? What things did he do in Congress (where he was a founding member of the Freedom Caucus) that make you think that?
