Gov. Ron DeSantis may believe Tuesday night’s re-election was a “win for the ages,” but former President Donald Trump isn’t sold.
Trump took to Truth Social to diminish DeSantis’ accomplishment Wednesday.
“Now that the Election in Florida is over, and everything went quite well, shouldn’t it be said that in 2020, I got 1.1 Million more votes in Florida than Ron D got this year, 5.7 Million to 4.6 Million? Just asking?”

I know where my loyalties lie.
There is one person on planet earth that has proven he wants to and can restore this nation to greatness.
He’s fighting for all of us.
Everything else is noise, the mutterings of weak minded losers pretending to be somebody who’s opinion matters.

Perhaps it might be better to see if DeSantis declares rather than speculating. Same goes for Trump.
This comparison by Trump is a joke. Number one, this is not a presidential election year. Number two, had it been a presidential election year, no doubt IMHO, Desantis would have blown right past Trump in the vote count.
It’s so obvious that Donald Trump is his only worst enemy. Stay tuned for more self-inflicted damage to come.
OTOH, he’s worth north of seven billion. And his rallies need stadiums to contain the attendees.

Trump does not like DeSantis’s act. That’s all.
As I am sure you know the issue with McCain was not that he was captured.
The issue is what happened after McCain was captured—his father’s role etc.
President Trump’s remarks were typical “shorthand”—not the way I would have worded it for sure—and it is such a delicate subject probably would have been best not to go there at all.

I voted for Trump twice. The speech he gave on Sunday night in Ohio about made me barf with the melodramatic music playing in the background.

Trump is really promoting both himself and DeSantis this way and by that route making mutual rivals appear less important. Hopefully DeSantis knows this (if I’m right).
