One of America’s most contested midterm races, between Adam Laxalt and Catherine Cortez Masto, is coming to a head in Nevada.
As of Thursday morning, Republican Mr Laxalt maintained a slight lead over Democratic incumbent Ms Cortez Masto in the Senate race with just over 79 per cent of votes counted, according to the New York Times.
The race could still be subject to substantial shifts as two counties with the vast majority of voters - Clark and Washoe - continue to tabulate mail-in ballots late into Wednesday night with large margins for Democrats, according to the Nevada Independent.
Those ballots will continue to come in over the next several days, as state law requires them to be postmarked by Election Day at the latest.
In the race for Nevada governor, incumbent Democrat Steve Sisolak was several points behind Republican challenger Joe Lombardo, sheriff of Clark County and head of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, as of Thursday morning with 79 per cent of votes counted.
Four House seats are also up for grabs in Nevada, with Republican Mark Amodei claiming the first victory as he won reelection for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District.

The foxnews election results show Laxalt at +2% points with 83% counted, and Lombard at +4% points with 83% counted.
Major frickin psyops going on there. Most of this is fear motivated too.
Yesterday I heard that the mail-in ballots were counted and the remaining ballots to be counted were the election day ballots. WTF?
agree. Here are a few numbers, again.
Lazalt up 49.4%- Mastro 47.6
165,713 remaining votes
Matro only took Clark county by 5% and Washoe by .2%.
Those 2 are the only counties she won and each have 88% of their votes counted.
Kelly up 51.4% to Masters 46.4%
595,483 remaining votes and as stated here, the votes left to count are day of election votes
In Maricopa county Kelly got 53.1% to Masters 44.9%
I think they both are in good shape
ISNT IT ODD HOW ALL THOSE LATE VOTES ALWAYS FAVOR DEMOCRATS?...../S
Oh man... are we not sick and tired of this sh*t?!
Amazing. And they’re the ones that vote the earliest and send in most of the mail in ballots the earliest.
“that’s why FL is red..normally. NO MAIL IN BALLOTS so you know cheating is almost impossible.”
Wrong.
Every registered voter in FL can request a mail-in ballot, no excuses needed. You can send a request by mail, or go down in person and pick up a mail-in ballot. You have to provide name, address, etc so they can check that you are a registered voter.
There were nearly 3 million Floridians who voted by mail in 2022.
It sounds like the illegal alien banana republic ballots are starting to roll in.
WELL, I’LL BE DANGED.....smirk.
SSDE...................
That’s the way it always works. They keep counting until the Dem wins.
Remember the talk in PA prior to the election that it would be days before the results were known? Nope, as soon as Fetterman got in the lead, the race was called. No need for further counting.
the problem is mass mailings with no request needed. Multiples can easily be sent out for each voter.
Masto doesn’t have the numbers. It’s just theater.
No unionized, government employee postal worker would backdate ballots so they can be counted........
It’s Two Minute warning, they are down 2 points and the ball is on the 50 yard line with no timeouts....................
Stop watching MSN.

The “votes” left to count in NV are mail ins that arrived on Election Day
Which heavily favored the Democrats 70,000 left of them mostly from Clark county .. the first batch of 15,000 went 2 to 1 fro the D’s, which was why the lead shrank
Plus the mail ins still in the mail that will arrive In the coming days
And please don’t ever send me a nasty private reply again
Not my fault you can’t accept reality
As it should be.
Amen.
