Democrat Katie Hobbs loses more ground to GOP’s Kari Lake in race for Arizona governor

PHOENIX — Democrat Katie Hobbs lost ground overnight to Republican Kari Lake in the race for Arizona governor.

Hobbs led 50.3%-49.7% in numbers released around 7 a.m. Wednesday by the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office, down from her previous share of 51.3%.

Only 11,726 votes separate the candidates.

Lake, the former television news anchor with Fox 10, won the Republican nomination over Karrin Taylor Robson and centered her campaign around the values of former President Donald Trump.

Her television-ready demeanor, confrontations with journalists and combative message for Democrats made the first-time candidate a rising star on the right whose future in national politics is already being debated.

Hobbs, Arizona’s Secretary of State, easily won the Democratic nomination on the strength of her rebuttal of fraud claims pertaining to the 2020 election.

The two candidates never debated during the cycle, a decision Hobbs said was due to her belief Lake “was only interested in a spotlight and creating a spectacle.”

The results will be a window into the pulse of the electorate in Arizona, a longtime Republican stronghold that turned toward Democrats during the Trump era.

They’ll provide insight into whether Biden’s success here in 2020 was a onetime event or the onset of a long-term shift away from the GOP.

Tensions between Hobbs and Lake continued into the final weeks before the election.

Hobbs’ campaign office was broken into Oct. 24, a crime the Democrat attributed to Lake’s words and actions.

No link was found between the accused thief and Lake’s campaign.

Polling averages had the two candidates close in the months leading up to the election.

FiveThirtyEight had Lake up 2.4 percentage points, while RealClearPolitics had Lake with an advantage of 3.5 percentage points on Tuesday.

KARI LAKE will PREVAIL.

2 to 1 odds that BLAKE MASTERS also WINS by 10,000 to 30,000 votes.

The left votes for anyone with a D no matter what. The right, not so much

Your assumption is in error.

This was posted yesterday here on FR. It is PROOF that FRAUD still exists in the Arizona system. Don't be too quick to BLAME the VOTERS.

People were still voting at the Community Church where I just waited about 2.5 hours to vote.

Just after 8:07 pm local time (near Phoenix - with polls closing at 7:00 pm), someone insisted on seeing if their ballot was read correctly.

The poll manager grabbed the “technician” and ran their ballot through, and it absolutely changed who they voted for.

The “tech” ran it again, and confirmed tbe reader or software changed their choices to Democrat!

The person started getting upset, and several other people in the polling station decided they wanted their ballots scanned before leaving the station, AND THE SAME HAPPENED!

The person in charge of the precinct station voluntarily gave everyone remaining in the station NEW BALLOTS to re-vote if they wanted ! (Like that was going to change how the readers and software are programmed).

So they are trying to let those who are left RE-VOTE their NEW ballots !

Several polling station’s had already run out of markers across the East Valley of Phoenix earlier.

*******

The fact is, the same hard left Hobbs behind the last stolen election was still SoS before these stolen votes in this election!

Looks like nothing has been fixed intentionally since the last election.

You can have all conservative poll workers, and it literally makes no difference who the left controls the digital/photo readers and rigged software.

That my friend is the exact example of fraud. Delay until the results match the choice.

Nothing is mathematically impossible when Democrats are in charge of tallying the votes.

Don’t need to try! I was feeling fortunate earlier. We are lucky. We are about the most conservative county in the nation.

She is beautiful, articulate, and tough, and campaigns like a winner. Her opponent hid in a basement and would not debate, and was a lousy SOS. The ballot box stuffing was considerable in Tucson, but not quite enough, we hope. Should Hobbs somehow stagger over the finish line, her acceptance speech will no doubt be trippy.

A few minutes ago I heard that in AZ, the Libertarian candidate, Marc Victor, got 39,000. Last week the guy dropped out and threw his support behind Masters. A few minutes ago I heard that he got 39,000! (Probably a lot of early voters’ ballots.)

It would be cool if the system would permit those vote to automatically be chalked up in Masters’ column. Probably wouldn’t be ethical or legal, though.

They should hire some consultants from Uganda or Albania or something to help them figure out how to tally votes. Dumshits.
