Donald, I love you. Truly.
But please shut up.

Loyalty is a two way street.

If you have a boss that has your back, it’s a wonderful thing. But when you have to tell him bad news—that’s where the true colors lie.

The best teamwork happens at 11 pm on a Saturday night when you are up against a shit storm. Even though the boss doesn’t do the front line work…they should be there getting the team what they need.

I don’t see that much these days.

Ah yes. The tried and true “we didn’t lose, they cheated” argument. I expect to see that forevermore around here. Trump can literally never be wrong because no one will ever be able to prove election fraud did not happen. You cannot prove a negative. So you’re free to accuse and accuse until the cows come home. Meanwhile we will lose election after election.

I’m pretty much “done” with Trump and his personal attacks - it’s uncalled for and petty. He needs to “grow up”/lose some ego .. a LOT. This is one aspect of Trump I really find offensive ... I knew when I voted for him the first time, I wouldn’t like/agree with him on everything ... that still holds true; however, what he’s doing going after people like Bolduc & his remark about DeSantis (whether he ‘meant’ it or not) is truly distasteful. Frankly, he’s ‘poisoning the well’ with those type of remarks and on that score, I’m not looking forward to the run up to 2024 or the election itself .... assuming we still have a country and elections at that point.

It’s time for Trump to go away. It’s a shame because he was the best president.

Re: 43 - Good post, which offers a reasonable take.

You can see some of this when President Trump was criticized on FR for supporting a bump stock ban, and initially supporting red flag legislation. The excuses (”he was being taken out of context”, “it’s McConnell’s fault”, etc.) were flowing freely.

While I believe there is rampant fraud and I don’t like how elections are being conducted, the issue did not win.

That is the entire point. Right or wrong, it was not a winning issue for Republicans, and it was never going to change the result of the 2020 election. Fighting a battle you cannot win that hurts candidates is just a bad strategy.

“Meanwhile we will lose election after election.”

“will lose?” You are a little behind...

Trump’s blind to his faults. He’s hurting the movement more than he’s helping. We will have to move on in 2024 if we hope to win and Save America.

I said they have a strategy that is independent of the candidate in the mail in ballot states. That should be obvious by now. Their candidate couldn’t put a sentence together. You think any of the top 3 candidates in PA was going to beat that? Oz ran a fine campaign and the contrast was stark.

Exactly my thoughts. I would say the educational system has been pedaling socialism for at least 30 years. Who did we expect they would vote for?

Idiotic attack...and FALSE.

As Chris Sununu said on Hannity's radio show yesterday, McConnell's PAC took TOO LONG getting behind Bolduc. The General surged at the end, but as with Blake Masters, McConnell & Co. held back their funds until the last weeks, when -- especially with early voting -- it was far too late.

The stolen election issue needs to stay on the top burner.

Who was it that said, when your enemy is digging a hole . . .

But there will be plenty of Nina Burleigh Wannabes here that just won’t accept what their eyes are reading.

I supported Trump …although I was not a fanatical devotee, like some here…and voted for him twice. But he has got to go.

This election was not about him or 2020, and if he had just stuck to promoting the MAGA agenda and being upbeat, things would have turned out different;y.

But it’s always all about him, and thus about how much he hates his GOP political rivals (while giving the Dems a free pass), how unfairly he was treated, etc.

I firmly believe the 20th election was stolen, but unfortunately the reason he got little GOP support in challenging it was that he was simply impossible to work with.

Incidentally, the despised McConnell donated a lot of money through his PAC to helping GOP candidates…Trump, with his personal $100 million campaign war chest, none at all.

It was never going to be an easy pickup in New Hampshire, this is not the Live Free or Die state I remember.

Whether the Nina Burleigh Wannabes want to admit it or not, some states in the Northeast are not going to elect any Republican or one that is to the right of a RINO.
