The head of the Kedumim local council, Hananel Dorani, has expressed his sorrow at the passing of Shalom Sofer Hy"d who passed away following severe injuries sustained in a terrorist attack two weeks ago.
"Shalom was a kind and generous man, an ish chessed," Dorani said. "He will be sorely missed for the righteousness and pleasantness of his ways.
"The new government must now cancel all the statements and actions made by the outgoing government that led terrorists to believe that they could succeed, and it must also bring a halt to all thought of making concessions to the Palestinian Authority," he added.

Never forget that. They threw down the gauntlet.
You can on a one-on-one basis plant seeds of friendship with Palestinians of good will. I’ve done that, and if enough people do that, there might be some real peace years from now.
The PA, however, is impossible. They will never make peace, even a very lopsided peace, because the day after they sign a treaty, whoever happens to be the leader at that time will be murdered. Even if they wanted to, they could not. And they don’t want to. No amount of concessions would ever be enough. In fact, the more concessions you offer, the more aggressively violent the PA will become, because you are not unconditionally surrendering yet, and you didn’t even convert to Islam. Same goes for Hamas and Hizbollah and PFLP, etc.
Damned if I know even most of them. But they were made.
In all likelihood, the Haaretz is running a story with a similar headline, except in theirs the word "not" follows the word "must."
As if a so called “two state” will end racist Arab daily attacks... remember the 2005 give away evacuation - Gush Katif ? It only emboldened genocidal Islamist Hamas etc.
