Wow, that ad is over the top. Desanctimonious is apropos LOL!!!!
DeSantis has not said he’s not running - in response to what Tge media has said for a year and a half, that DeSantis is primary rival to Trump
So he is primary rival. Fair game for commentary.
When it comes to trump, then it’s going to be something rude that makes fun of him. Something that might not even be clever. Now he’s got everyone defending home like a co captain of a cheerleading squad who stole the captains boyfriend
Someone posted a link to that ad here, and many FReepers were falling all over themselves praising it.
Me? I thought it was awful.
It’s a cringeworthy ad, no doubt. But you’d expect your Democratic opponent in the general election to criticize you for that, not another Republican.
You bet, and his campaign ad clearly implied, "God sent DeSantis to be our savior".
