Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is indicating to GOP donors that he has no plans to challenge former President Donald Trump in 2024, Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman reported on Wednesday.

I don’t remember the details but I believe DeSantis said almost two years ago that he wouldn’t run if Trump does. I believe he said this soon after they had played golf together.

Maybe, but I remember that Trump made Governor Perry of Texas secretary of energy, and that was the last we heard of what could of been a great president.
And the press is deeply saddened at the absence of the Republican infighting they’ve been trying to promote. They’re like a mean little kid taking two kittens and bumping their heads together until they start fighting.
Now why on Earth would DeSantis take a second fiddle do nothing job like that when he’s the leader of the most free state in the union? He doesn’t need to be VP to win the Presidency later. We need him right where he is in Florida without distraction.

Trump was robbed of his 1st term and cheated out of his 2nd term. If he runs in 2024, the nomination is his. Anyone challenging him in the primaries will get blown out.

I’m not a huge fan of DeSantis but the U.S. Attorney General post in a Trump administration makes a lot of sense for him.
It's a nice idea but don't think it will work in practicality. For one thing, the enemy media, who we all know are working directly for the Democrats, will have all that time to dig up dirt on these people and otherwise make their lives miserable. They will be sending mobs of thugs to picket their houses and will harrass their kids and whatnot.
Maybe in a more civil time, announcing the cabinet in advance of the election would work, but remember, they are at war with us.

TRUMP was a great President. but he is not electable again. to much baggage! the Rats want Trump to run because they will destroy him. He is sadly a lightning rod for the Left.
We need a younger President not a 78 year old like we have today with Biden. Trump is lucid today but could have health issues by the time of an election. They will use that against him.
