PHILADELPHIA (AP) — President Joe Biden took his own playful swing at Philly’s infamously ornery sports fans — including one real close to home.
“Phillies fans are the most virulent, obnoxious fans in the world,” he said Tuesday while campaigning in Florida.

Oorah buddy…
Fighting’ Phil’s gettin it done…
Oz’s team should cut it up, and run ads in PA during the World Series.
Yeah but jeeez, he was Santa. I always thought Santa came down the chimney not fell down it. Guess now we know the rest of the story.
You must be talking about a different Santa than the one I referenced in post 20.
Pretty stupid to alienate Phillies fans you hope will vote for Fetterman in the upcoming election.
I can only imagine how loud the boos would have been if Joe was on the field in Philly.
We’re from Philly, (*deleted*) Philly — No one likes us ... we don’t care.
Game 3.
Ours.
Dancing On Our Own…
Here’s a good write up-—the bottom line is you’re correct. But it goes deeper with a horrible team, snow on the ground, booing at the players and coach and then Santa (a known Philly guy) taken from the stands and booed and snowballs thrown at him. Then he was cheered when he went back to his seat....this was 1968.

Thanks Joe, Dr. Oz thanks you.
Thought I heard Dr. Jill was attending the game last night.
During debate in PA, Fetterman backed Pittsburgh over Phila for the Interstate rivalry. Oz backed Eagles
I saw a story on ESPN a number of years ago about the infamous "booing Santa" incident, which included an interview with the guy who played Santa. It was snowing that day, so the guy who was supposed to be Santa called in and said he couldn't make it because of the weather. They looked around, and spotted a fan in the stands who just happened to wear a Santa suit to the game (you're right - he was drunk.) They brought him down, gave him 50 bucks, and had him sling an equipment bag over his shoulder. All he had to do was walk around the edge of the field and wave to the fans. It was the end of another horrendous season by the Eagles, so they started booing Santa and throwing snowballs at him. They were also upset because the Eagles were winning - if they lost, they would have gotten the number one pick in the next draft (which I believe would have been O.J. Simpson.)
The Juice could really slice and dice.
