On Elon Musk’s first day in control of Twitter , the company has started laying off employees, including data engineers, self-identified former employees told CNBC.
A person who walked out of Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters and identified themselves as a Twitter data engineer said they were just laid off by their director in-person.

Sit there doing your job, security shows up, tells you to log off the computer, get your purse (if female) and car keys. Just grab your keys if male. Leave everything, including family photos on the desk, don’t touch anything, and HR would pack your stuff.

Latest reports say this is fake... the names the guys gave, have never worked there, and one of there names is code for something naughty... saying the MSM ran it without verifying it.
So, database engineer? Relational data engineer? The term “data engineer” sound fishy, using plain old vernacular definitions.
