According to the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles City Council President Nury Martinez, a Latina Democrat, recently referred to a councilman’s Black son as a “monkey”-- and also said in reference to liberal Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, “he’s with the Blacks.”
This prompted MSNBC host Tiffany Cross to ask Fordham University law professor Tanya Hernández if making racist comments made a Latino white or just a racist racial minority. Hernández, a self-proclaimed “race law expert” with an interest in Critical Race Theory, replied:
“Well, I actually think that there is another layer to this. Some people within the Latino community do achieve whiteness, one, because they are white appearing, they favor more our European ancestors, and depending on their accent, their educational level, whether they actually have a recognizable Hispanic surname, that all those things that enable a person to, I wouldn’t call it passing, but seemingly—just-- and seamlessly being able to pass into whiteness, or white Anglo-whiteness, just as they have whiteness within Latin America and the Caribbean. Um, so, I guess what I want to say is that despite this idea of all Latinos being brown, you know, some browns are browner than others and some whites are whiter than others. There are Latinos who are white, whether they have that personal identity or not, that’s their socially ascribed race from others outside, and they get to move in that privilege as well.”
Latinos are incapable of exhibiting racist behavior unless and until they “achieve” whiteness? Say what?! Hernández sounded like a cross between Kamala Harris and a laundry detergent commercial. Some browns are browner than other browns and some whites are whiter than white?!

My issue was not with Latinos can be racist.

My issues was with the ProfessorIdiot singling out “whiteness”.......
There is a striking parallel between this idiot’s argument and Hitler’s argument that fine Aryans can be hopelessly contaminated by Judaism and it’s ideas such that they become Jews.
Hitler used it as a reason to send disagreeable Germans to death camps.

The guy who owns one of the most popular tree service companies here is so busy that he has a waiting list. When he came to remove a dead tree from my yard recently, he was assisted by one assistant. They removed the tree (a tall pine with a diameter of a little over 2 ft), cleaned up the debris and stacked everything by the street for pick-up by the city within 40 minutes. I paid him $250 (which was quite reasonable).
Parse that. If this guy paid his helper $50 which is extremely generous, that means he has $200 left for himself for 40-45 minutes of work.
On top of that, he had a crew working at another location across town during the time he was at my house.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was netting over $400 grand a year.
Think about that.

There is too much money for education. This is the nonsense it grows into when the cash flows in with no reality check. The absurdities have to keep getting more ridiculous in order to be seen as innovative, especially as they are incapable of being genuinely able to produce anything of value.
I go to a Spanish church service each Sunday. Our congregation ranges from “whiter than me” to “black.”
Normal Hispanic people would tell these professors where to put their browner browns and whiter whites, if they knew the professors existed.

Most people want to laugh it off, but it’s already happening, and has been happening for decades. It doesn’t have to be an organized effort, it’s just buried in a memory hole as a robbery, “gone wrong”, or mental illness and humoring the mass murderer like Darrel Brooks. No one is screaming for him to get death penaly.
