Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on Tuesday is scheduled to campaign for Kari Lake, the Republican nominee for governor of Arizona, just days after announcing she was leaving the Democratic Party.
Lake's campaign said Gabbard would introduce the gubernatorial candidate at a GOP forum in Chandler, Arizona.
The dramatic swing to the right comes on the heels of Gabbard, who ran for president as a Democrat in the 2020 election cycle, posting a video statement saying she could no longer remain a member of a party “now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness.”

Where the hell did you come up with your list, anti 2A, slave reparations, open borders?
Tulsi Gabbard was a demonRAT so of course there was a time when she had different political views from us, so are you going to reject both Ronald Reagan and Donald J. Trump because they were once demonRATs?
My favorite Tulsi Gabbard's position would be "The Missionary Position" but unlike you, I'm open to new ideas from the kama sutra.
She is prepping for her VP run, under Trump.
Holy hell, you are more bigoted than al sharpton.
Being anti-gun is in their blood?
You need to swallow a poison pill and end your misery.
There is no good reason to believe that she no longer believes in the things that she said she believed in just a year ago.
There is one not so good reason that you brought up, though. You fancy a roll with her. Stop thinking with your Johnson!
I did a double-take, but Tulsi isn't running.
I wonder how many of the people trying to analyze what Tulsi may or may not be doing, were the same people that held their noses to vote for the likes of McCain or Romney? Because it was OK since they were the lesser of two evils and that made it OK?
I say take a win where you can get it. Here's a person that right now is shining a light on the problem that is the Democrat party.
If everyone had to comply with an absolute litmus test, well, it would make for a really lonely time.
Who cares? Why does everyone have to take a purity test to be a Conservative. She is already more Conservative than lots of Repubs.
The point is not to bring conservatives, but to bring the middle of the road voter to consider Lake or Bolduc in NH.
I will give you the political breakdown of NH. It is roughly 30% Republican, 35% Democrat and 35% Independent.
Bolduc is not going to get the dire hard Dems to vote for him. Tulsi is there to change the mind of the 35% in the middle.
Many of these Independent voters DO NOT LIKE POLITICS. They are employed, pay their taxes, own homes, have kids, watch the NFL, and take their kids to soccer, lacrosse, football and baseball. They are busy. They still vote. They are the ones that are actually swayed by TV, radio and internet ads.
Third tier players, sitting on the bench? Hardly players! They (apparently) don’t even know the rules of the game!
These folks are only cheerleaders searching for their pom-poms.
MAGA or die trying! Ready to rumble.
Hey PP, note that Trump will be in Robstown Texas Sat (10/22)
for a rally. Cheers.
At this point Republicans will vote for Republicans, Democrats will vote for Democrats. The battle is for Independent voters. Many may see Tulsi as a backstabbing, turncoat traitor. Why is Lake willing to invite that discussion with only 3 weeks out? Is Kari willing to find out what Independents think of Tulsi?
Donald Trump was a Democrat!!!
People change.
She still has to prove to me that she was changed.
It is the other way around. Kari Lake doesn’t need Tulsi Gabbard. Tulsi needs to be associated with people like Kari to 1) expunge her horrible liberal record of statements and policy proposals and 2) to make herself relevant again. This is her new 15 minutes of fame. If she is going to be the permanent “maverick democrat” in the Media’s eyes, she needs to make her case now.
People like Kari Lake and Bolduc are like morale mouthwash for Tulsi. She is trying to kill all the bad liberal germs attached to her and have sparkling fresh breath, too.
Got any links to support those statements?
Here are some links to refute some of the above charges against Tulsi.
There are more, and you can find them, if you can bear to interrupt your feeding frenzy long enough to get marginally informed.

Here is the link to Tulsi's substack article from Oct 11: Why I'm leaving the Democratic Party
Here is one paragraph that debunks dozens of posts regarding her position on gun control and the 2nd Amendment:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today’s Democratic Party does not believe in our constitutionally protected right to bear arms. Our founders passed the Second Amendment out of a recognition that every one of us has a right to defend ourselves and our loved ones, and to serve as a check on a tyrannical government seeking to take away our God-given freedoms. The Democratic Party’s hatred of the Second Amendment and their increasing authoritarian instincts pose a serious threat to our freedoms. "Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” Beto O'Rourke said at a debate when he was running for president. Our founders intentionally passed the Second Amendment right after the First Amendment. The majority ruling from the recent Supreme Court ruling striking down New York’s law that barred people from concealed carry firearms summarized very clearly why Democrats are wrong to try to take away our rights: “Just as we do not need to seek a permit to stand on the street corner and exercise our right to free speech, we shouldn’t have to seek permission for a law abiding citizen to carry their firearm. We as a society don’t get to pick and choose which of our rights in the constitution are more worthy of protecting than another.” Protecting our freedom to defend ourselves and those we love, and protecting our rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution against a tyrannical power is exactly why we must ensure our right to bear arms “shall not be infringed.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can find 10 links for her on any given issue and there will be 5 links to one side of an issue and 5 links to another side of the issue. On gun control, she has an F from the NRA and a 0% from the Hawaii Rifle Association. Oh, but she says she supports the SCOTUS decision in Bruen. Oh, gee, that's convenient for someone who now wants Republican votes. Wikipedia, which I normally don't like for this kind of thing, actually has a good collection of most of her flip flops. The issues sections go on forever because she keeps telling people what they want to hear. That's why I give ZERO credence to her self serving screeds and Twitter posts.
She's a pretty, well spoken woman who served in the military and seems to have a genuine distrust of interventionist foreign policy. And that is just catnip to a certain cohort of gullible, usually male, Trump supporters.
Gabard has at least a decade long record of leftism, including opposing energy independence and being a WEF Young Global Leader.
I’m honored to be selected as 2015
So, your references are encouraging but represent a few months vs decades.
We will see if she can prove herself worthy of support over time.
I hope she will do it.
Love it: “cheerleaders searching for their pom-poms.”
God bless Texas! Love the way Trump jumps around in the States he visits. I wonder how many unique destinations he’s had for his rallies.
Awesome.
“Gabbard is Deep State.” Comment noted.
She has some of the qualities of Deep state Dan Crenshaw: veteran, attraction, well-spoken.
We shall see. You make a very good point about topics she has not touched.
