South African President Cyril Ramaphosa held a two-day summit with Saudi Arabia on mostly economic matters. At the conclusion of the summit, he confirmed the intent of Saudi Arabia to join the BRICS economic coalition, which should not come as a surprise given the previous statements by Saudi leader and Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman (MbS).

So if Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sudan, a Sri Lanka join BRICS would it be . . .
BRICSSSSS . . .
“The decadent west ... despised all over the Arab world. I don’t know where the right side is but we’re not on it.”
Are you calling Sharia Law as the superior to the western lifestyle?
Also known as the bric-a-brac.
Small ornaments and other miscellaneous items of little value.
Another Biden foreign policy success!!
You have to notice how the Soddies just don’t like or trust The Bidum. Remember the purple carpet? No red carpet for Slojoe. Some of this might be more of a move to get IceCreamConeHead out of the white hut? It’s almost a parlor game around the planet finding ways to make his Dumbassness look like the foo he is. The Soddies really did like Trump. Remember the sword dance? That was huuuuge.
This issue is nothing to make light of. If enough countries decide the US dollar isn’t the reserve currency, we are really screwed.
“SABRIC”
Sounds like a new teenage witch movie.
The U. S. is not more despised today than it has been before,
in the Arab World.
There is a real peace process as nations have joined in on the
relations with Israel, and are doing business with them.
Most of the Arab world hated the U. S. with a passion in
the past, and more and more they are willing to work with
the U. S. in recent years.
Now, are Obama and Biden doing their best to return to
the days when all the Arab states hated us? Yes.
Parseltongue.
Over the years, there’s been U.S. media coverage about Saudi corruption, trying to start a movement to divorce America from Saudi influence like the Saudis are the bad guys. Like what the U.S.did to discredit Iran and the Shah. I’ve always been suspicious of the motives of such reporters.
Take a good hard look at American culture right now.
Take a good hard look at American culture right now.

Agreed. “There is trouble in the west” when the majority political party (hopefully ending November 8, 2022) promotes communists, Queer Theory, Race Theory, God mocking and baby butchering!
Maybe you should take a good hard look at Islam.
That would signal the beginning of the end of the petro dollar.
That would be very bad news.
Not good. Even small states can unite to make a powerful force—remember E Plubus Unium ? Lots of Nations hate us in the world—some with good reason—some imaginary. But this could mean more pain for the average American.
I have. It looks better than wokism and queerism.
True that. But perhaps equally important, at least in geopolitical terms, is that the U.S. "smart" people think it's best to brainwash the masses into hating their country, hating their race, and hating themselves. That's not what you see among the BRISACS nations. The Russians don't think being Russia is automatically evil. They are motivated. The same with China. The same with South Africa. They are as motivated as we used to be when American pride was a thing, like during the space race or during the Reagan revolution. Their schools don't teach them the "evils" of nationalism.
Must be because it is safer to walk streets in Riyadh in the evening than either Chicago, New york city, Los Angeles or Atlanta.
Well, along with the anti-Americanism here as freepers move towards Russia and Red China to replace America, now we have one moving toward an Islamic conquest of America to cure us.
