For years the political left has made fools of themselves by sucking up to celebrities. Both in election season and out of it, always it’s the same story. Susan Sarandon, Matt Damon, Eva Longoria and the rest of them all come out to support the Democrat party.

Want to weigh up the rights and wrongs of American foreign policy? Then make sure George Clooney is on your side. Want to address income inequality? Well make sure you’ve got Taylor Swift on board.

Of course the whole thing is ridiculous. And conservatives have not been shy about pointing out that fact. Because it is ridiculous.

Susan Abigail Sarandon (née Tomalin; born October 4, 1946) is an American actress and activist.

Lauren Bacall (born Betty Joan Perske; September 16, 1924 – August 12, 2014) was an American actress.

Bacall was 22 years old when Sarandon was born - so, theoretically, Bacall could have been Sarandon's mother.

But I think that it's obvious that the epithet "linear ancestress" was NOT to be taken literally.

I love how the Republican icons like Ms. Owens is loved by everyone on the right until she says one thing that some on the right may not agree with and now she is on notice she better mind her Ps & Qs or she will no longer be an icon. The left will backup and support anyone in their party in order to maintain a strong front. Candace Owens has a right to be supportive of her friend without compromising her conservatism.
